Sheesh that ending was horrible. Very awkward! Hopefully Trick has a better second run with the title. The first run was stale.
Other than a few bright spots here and there this show was very underwhelming. I expected better!
Some missed spots too, like Trick going for the spinning neckbreaker. That match was kind of sloppy, especially being the main event.
Why are they adding closing credits to the show?
I disagree, it was a solid show over all, NXT is still developmental, the crowd was into to it, only issue I really had was the main event. But hey, opinions
I was gonna go to the show next week here in Saint Louis but there's no way I'm sitting through this shit!
TKO is leaning into the sports presentation. Like when they show the announce team and back stage reporters at the beginning.
They need to break these tag teams up! Introduce a secondary women's title for the two brands. It feels like the writers and bookers don't know how to book/write for women on ANY promotion. They basically rely on the women to write and get themselves over. You two are black, you're a tag team now! You two have funny accents...yeah, I don't care if you're from Kentucky and you're from Ireland. All I see is foreigner so you're a tag team!!!

They're testing out the secondary title in NXT right now with the Women's North American title. That may open up things for a Women's US and IC, or other names, but it seems to be the direction they're going in.

Ehh, I don't like the women's titles being the female version of the men's titles. They should bring back the TV title and make that a women's title and some other title. Just slapping Women's in front of US and IC seems forced. You want to give some legitimacy to these belts.

It was her 2nd. A good number of international wrestlers and wrestlers coming from a different promotion will seem watered down. Nothing new to what we're all accustomed to seeing for years as fan. Part of the process unfortunately.
Sorry, but this isn't Stardom or even AEW.
You're not going to get half-hour "bangers" with overly stiff blows and girls being dropped on their heads/shoulders repeatedly.
This is especially so on the first episode of NXT on broadcast TV.
Maybe you'll get that on a PLE here and there, but don't expect it every week.

Trick really needs to work on his in-ring, he's nowhere close to being ready for the main roster.
And other than a decent look and a cool chant for the crowd to sing along with, I don't see a lot there.

I think it was Dusty Rhodes back in the day with Crockett/NWA who wanted to have credits at the end of each show.
NXT really leaning into hip-hop with their characters, opening theme song with 2chainz and Lil' Wayne.
But damn, this shit again????
She is popular (whether we like her or not) and they must have done good numbers the last time she was on to bring her back.
I just hope this doesn't become a regular thing.

These wrestlers from other countries have to change their style once they arrive here.
That overly stiff shit won't fly here and will lead to injuries and shortened careers.
I don't like it either. Unless it's a joint ppv show keep NJPW talent off of Stardom shows. With that said Natsupoi sold the fuck out of that spear and they need to have her pay that shit back in due time.
