This election cycle has shown me just how phoney are people are in general. So is it "black people arent a monolith" or "group think or youre problematic"? Cam and Mase podcast gets mad shine around here. Now since they dont have the same poltical idology yall don't rock withh them? They been lame? They been problematic. Same thing with Janet. Black folks been fucking with Janet since '73. But now her music is mid and not a legend etc... It makes me sad that Black folks are more loyal to a political ideology than to their own peoples. I have lived through quite a few election cycles and as many Presidents. This isn't my first time hearing "The most important election ever" or "This election is going to be a turing point for black america". It's always fire and brimstone, sky is falling, they're going to put us back in chains. I'm an older Gen X. Shaming tactics wont work, because I dont care and I learned a long time ago how to survive despite the political climate. My issue is the phoney bullshit. Janet didn't mention Trump, neither did I. Anytime I question ANYTHING someone mentions Trump. Fuck Trump. I didntmention ANY party affiliation. This two party system got my people in a chokehold. As far as I'm concerned RedMaga and BlueMaga sound the same when they talk to me as an individual.
