Caitlin Clark Is The Truth

I was at the Fever and Wings game last night. Caitlyn got SHUT DOWN and turned the ball over quite a bit. That's why she's passing the ball and getting a lot of assists.
Fam that’s not how that works..lol

The Assist is someone breaking down the defense so that’s not shutting someone down especially when they have 19 assists

If a 4 and 19 team causes a 10 and 13 team to take you out of your normal game, and you have to dish... Clark knew she did better to pass/ assist instead of shooting. She even said that during post-game. She wasn't going for the assist record, she was trying to give her squad the best chance to win.

From ESPN: On May 3, 2024, the Wings won with a final score of 79-76.

7/17/24--Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever set a new WNBA record with 19 assists in a game against the Dallas Wings.
Despite her impressive performance, the Fever lost to the Wings 101-93.

So if Angel wins a championship before her, more than Clark, say Clark never wins one but Angel does, what’s the narrative then?

True and MY Dallas Wings have a losing record due to injuries but look at the stats--62 points from the Fever came from the paint.

The Wings put on a 3-pointer show against the Fever and caused a lot of turnovers. Caitlin was contained on her perimeter shooting and had to dish it elsewhere to Boston and others. Her game was taken from her last night by Odyssey Sims who mainly guarded her, and she had a high-scoring night of her career at 24.

I honestly like Clark, and I know she, Angel Reese, and the '24 draft class do a lot for the WNBA, but Clark was well-contained.

I wouldn't say that Caitlin was "Well contained", she just didn't shoot well although she did shoot over 50% for the game. She was 10-19 and 2-9 on 3's. The majority of her misses were 3's.

That's not well contained, she just missed shots. She had 6 turnovers but 19 assist. She wasn't getting locked down, she was the facilitator and got the job done.

Simms was 10-17, Arike was 8-21 and Howard 5-16.

Yes the Wings have unfortunately had a lot of injuries. Hopefully after this break you guys get fully healthy and can really start playing Wings basketball again!

Bruh I explained it in this thread and I know that you didn't see it but..

This isn't a media motivated thread when we speak about Caitlin or WNBA basketball.

It's just us, our thoughts and how we feel and think about the players and teams. We don't care what the media, social media thinks and cares and we definitely don't care or pay attention to narratives.

So if Angel wins a championship before Caitlin, then that means that Angel had a better team. And if Caitlin wins one before Angel, it means that Caitlin had the better team.

We're not pitting them against each other because the people in this thread like them both.

Other than those members that have been poisoned by the media and social media.

Redline spitting facts here.

Appreciated
I’m team Plum first by the way but I’m going definitely root for Angel

This makes no sense, she is playing Saturday in the AllStar game. WNBA getting the attention they've been begging for, first the league doing dumb shit with scheduling and having to search for games now the players doing dumb shit, no way Sabrina Ionescu, Kelsey Plum and Caitlin Clark shouldn't be in the 3point contest, Aja Wilson should also be in one of those skills challenges. Chicks acting like NBA players scared to lose, they better not come talking about they want to be apart of the NBA ALLSTAR Weekend

Sabrina hinted 2 games ago that should may not participate. She said her shot has been off and she wants to prepare the Olympics. I'm sure the other Olympians may be using that excuse as well. Gotta "save their legs."

CC has no excuse though. But to be honest, in my opinion, she aint built for the 3-point contest yet. So it's proper for her to decline and let others participate.

Neither one of them have an excuse, the USA Team is in no danger of losing in the Olympics and what better way to prepare than to shoot. With Clark you can't compare contested in game 3 point shooting to shooting uncontested 3's so she has no excuse for not participating. Britney Griner is in the skills challenge so if she can get in there all of these stars should participate

Yo this is inexcusable. This is the equivalent of Michael Jordan and Larry Bird refusing to do All Star weekend in the '80s when the NBA was growing. What gives these girls the right to turn this down? But I guarantee you they accept the first offer from the NBA to do All-Star weekend next year. Women are their own worst enemies.

Dude wrote a rap/freestyle for Caitlin Clark, listen to those lyrics dissing all the WNBA stars

Caitlin might not be a contest 3-point shooter but I was definitely expecting her to compete.

Regarding big Sabrina. She went against the best shooter ever last year and the last thing she wants to do is even having the possibility of losing to one of those WNBA bums :roflmao:

I thinks its more absurd that they invited that big slow dude to be in the skills challenge in the first place. No one wants to see that shit. :smh:

They should have invited part of the Chicago Sky team, DiJonai Carrington, Rickea Jackson and a few others and it would have done BIG ratings.
