Huh. I saw most of the physical boxes were shutting down a month or so ago around here. Figured the handwriting was on the wall. They had a good run, but they were never going to survive the streaming wars.Redbox’s owner files for bankruptcy after repeatedly missing payments and payroll

I use SmartTube too.Do you. I'm not paying Youtube shit, it ain't that serious. And I'm old as fuck. I just sideloaded SmartTube on my tvs and called it a day, no need for a vpn even. I get what you're saying though, when you get older hacking/pirating everything gets old and you just want it to work. I'm the same way. I imagine one day they will figure out a way to screw up SmartTube so it doesn't work anymore, or the SmartTube devs will stop supporting it. But until then, I get no ads and don't even need a vpn. Only thing I use the vpn for is torrenting and bypassing my dumbass states Pornhub laws.

Fix movie tittle ? I never had to do that ever in plex it gets the metadata automaticallyJust bought a 22 TB. I have about 100 TB total. Damn dude has a lotta stuff. Anyway to fix movie title without having to do it manually?
My bad. Mine look like that as well. I have some old cartoons and some recent shows that instead of putting them in a complete season, it puts them as individual files. I appreciate your response bro, thank you.Fix movie tittle ? I never had to do that ever in plex it gets the metadata automatically
My movie files are named like this
Twisters.2024.1080p.10bit.WEBRip.6CH.x265.HEVC-PSA.mkv
In plex it’s named
Twisters
With the movie poster and the rest of the info
plex gets all that information automatically
The only time plex doesn’t rename it is when it doesn’t know what that movie is , you have to click on fix match , to fix it
I don't know if this is a joke but torrentgalaxy is shut down for good it looks like

If you're suggesting this for PLEX, I would advise against it as there is no redundancy. That one drive fails and all your data is lost. Get something that supports RAID so if a drive(s) fail, you'll still have your data so you can get a replacement.20tb western digital external drive $269 amazon prime

I tried to tell you about saving those 4k movies! That shyt will eat up your space QUICK!!! My movies are no bigger than 1.4gb and TV shows are about 500mb. 1080p/720p for movies and 480p for TV. I had a cousin that complained about the quality so I disabled his access and told him to buy Disney, Netflix, MAX, etc... since he has a problem with my FREE media. If he was smart I would be scared of him turning me into the media police, but that ain't gonna happen.
You plan on switching to 2160p? I wonder how those 1080p videos will look 10 years from now,i downloaded like 300 movies at 1080p x265 rarbg mostly under 2gb, now i get 1080p x265 from psarips
for movies I don't care much or I'm not sure is good i get 900mb 720p x265
all tv shows no matter how good or bad i get 200mb 720p x265
I use a program called "carbon copy cloner" to backup my drive every day at a certain time, i basically use the terramaster as a das ,I know it has a raid built-in but i prefer the program
For TV shows, I get 720p.WEB.x265-MiNX

Doubt it, remember xvid codec videos from back in the day, those would look like trash on a 4k tv. Even 420 and 720p videos from the 2000's don't hold up well. I'm assuming we will eventually transition to 8k tvs.I'm assuming TV's will have technology to "clean up" those 1080p flicks
