Hip hop will be fine.
It's OUR responsibility to cherish OUR era like OTHER MUSIC GENRES DO.
Unfortunately, you probably spend most of your day with Sexy Redd fans.Honestly, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near Sexy Redd fans, even if it was a solid mixture.

He needed to make all I need remix with the fisher beat and the kids would of loved it
I dont agree with this. But seriously
This ain't FOR ME.
I can't tell a rugby polo cricket fan sh*t about THEIR SPORT. No matter how much I study it. It's not mine I ain't put in the time. Even if I did? I'm still an outsider.
This isn't MY MUSIC MY HIP HOP
It had to be the dwight man that actually readsWas that really a Maga hat
I think it says make America sexy again
It looks like a y there
I never saw the allure of Power House in Philadelphia. Killing your brothers and sisters in raps is always topical in the genre. Denigrating your sisters and sexually objectifying them will always be current and hip in the genre. Because the genre isn’t funded by us. Home cooked food always hit longer than Chinese food and McDonald’s. And you always get seconds and thirds. Food outside the home is nothing but salt and folks selling purified water and fronting like it’s from Fiji.Summer Jam has always been ass.
Budweiser Superfest was the last summer concert series that was worth attending
Its what they relate to,you can't really judge them, the older generations said the same about rap in its infants stages. These young kids don’t know what good songs is anymore. You put Method Man And Redman in a stadium for 40 + you will have a different outcome
Watch the eric sermon drink champs. This is were the real money is at. Young people don't spend money on entertainment like we used too.
E-40/Too short/DJ Quick tickets had to be at least $300 per. Old niggas gladly paid, had a good time, and took our old asses home with no issues.
Why even bother with the young crowd when their artist will never get to that level.
Imagine 60 year old ladies in the crowd breaking their hips trying to twerk. It going to be sad as fuck watching them trying to replicate youth.
Imagine going to see 60 year old Sexy Ready or Cardi B. It gonna be real sad.
But it's also going to be funny as hell too. Snapp!! You ol maid hussie. Your BBL and twerk broke you and now you need a hip replacement. Great!!!
Right. Like I said too some of these new artist have legit talent. Biggest issue with Ice Spice is she has absolutely zero stage presence. That's on her marketing team not working with her enough to improve on that. They just said fuck it, show your ass and it won't be an issue. Production is lazy as fuck too often nowadays too. It goes beyond the artist cuzzo. My point is also it's still okay to call trash fuckin trash. I'm not bashing it cause it's a new era. Conway is out there within this new era as well so there can still be some doneness to thrive today. I'm bashing it because it's fuckin corny. Even though our parents frowned upon some of the stuff we were listening too my mom even told me I liked L.L. Cool J , Run DMC Salt N Pepa, stuff like that. So say it with me cuzzo. FUCK SOME OF THIS NEW CORNY ASS SHIT. Especially that weirdo shit when niggas rhyming off beat en shit and not making any kind of fuckin sense. Then they wanna sing off key like a muthafucka. It's not fun, funny or creative. It's annoying as fuck. Now enjoy thinking about nuttin in this bitch delicious pussy below. But seriously

This isn't MY MUSIC MY HIP HOP
This isn't my era.
I have not put in ANY real time and real effort to understand it to hate it
My mom RIP knew all the new music
I know she ain't really like it but with all the samples at least she made an effort of finding commonality
my pops hated all that till he saw them video girls lol!
Point is this is how art like this is SUPPOSED to be.
I actually like Ice Spice and Doja Cat and Cardi. Some of these young boys can really rap too.
But like anything you gotta seek and find not just depend on what some algorithm tells you modern hip hop is.
That is OUR responsibility
Not making the effort to support our own music and then trashing the new music says more about OUR generation than theirs.
A lot of these young rappers can rap the problem is that they go for the easy money. Thats my problem with them.Right. Like I said too some of these new artist have legit talent. We really have to stop thinking like this. This is why very little musical legacy is passed on. We don't pass it down like others do.Understandable. No need to be in spaces where the crowd is 30 years younger than him.
Our elders may have trashed our music but most people in my generation (Gen X) never turned our back on theirs. When I was a kid and in my twenties I loved 60s and 70s music. I still do today even though I wasn't born when it was recorded. These young kids do themselves no favors dismissing the music of my youth. They're missing out bad.
I dont agree with this.
Fan is a fan no matter how long.
Unless u really played the game nobody is an outsider
The funny thing is that the people behind the music are the same people that brought u all the classics. As in dmx, nas, jay, pac etc.
We really have to stop thinking like this. This is why very little musical legacy is passed on. We don't pass it down like others do.
Go to a show with white 90s artists (Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Beck, etc.) and you see generations at the shows. White folks bring their teens. Paramore's lead singer pulled a mom and her daughter out of the crowd at a concert in Seattle to help her sing one of her songs and both the mom and the daughter knew all of the words. That shit was great. We have to do that shit so that our artists retain their value, too.
I understand why he feels the way he feels. When he was younger, the crowd listening to him was younger. He was new, hip-hop was younger; the crowd was experiencing them for the first time. He wants that feeling when he performs.
He has to understand how the younger gen moves at shows. Most of them have their cameras out recording. They don't live in the moment like we did. Also, he is not their music; he is their parents' music. They are going to be more hyped about Tyler or Tyga or Jack Harlow or Russ. Those are their contemporaries. That is reality. If they just put on a good show, they will gain some new fans as well as some young gen respect. Blow the young cats off the stage and they will want to be like you.

But they are from your era. So u can always speak on it. If the music is terrible it is. Like I said music from the 60 and 70s one of my favorite music. My parents didnt even think about having me. Hell there werent even together lololbut the leagues understand it's THEIR responsibility to make it all accessible to the next generation
