Liquid Swords was not Gza’s debut album.

Only Built is the best Wu- Tang debut solo album.

I dint think he was going by the name gza then.

And it was his wu tang solo debut.

And you probably right about the purple tape.

Toss up between Rae and Gza....

I agree, they were both classics in different ways.

The Pillage and Shyheim's debut album are the most underrated albums.

Return to the 36 Chambers is my favorite though, it was the one I listened to the most. It was war music, like Onyx's music at the time, made for the livest niggas only. A few drinks and listen to a few songs, and I was ready to put both feet and hands on niggas in or outside the club, or on the block.

When I brought this up dudes were analyzing it like the last season of Breaking Bad :D

First off I feel like OBFCL should be disqualified or graded differently because with so many Ghost features I feel like it was the best DUO debut album...

Meth album was rushed and SOUNDS like it even all these years later...

and also the later albums didn't have RZA's full and undivided attention like the others.

I actually think it goes between GZA & ODB...

GZA's...I think lyrically intelligent well produced classic hip hop album wins...

but ODB's is a damn game changer...NOTHING sounds like it then or now and it BANGS!!! Unique creative and completely off the chain...and THE best album cover.

Thank God for he drink champs podcast.... WuTang Episode, METH confirmed that he lost all his music in a flood and had to re-record while on tour ....
They would wake up early to do Promos, signings, business shit etc. Go to dinner. Perform. While the crew would go party and rest at the hotel he would go to the studio to record.

I was thinking the same shit all these years.

When I was younger it was "OBFCL", now that I'm older "Ironman." I don't skip any tracks on "Ironman," vs I tend to skip more than a couple on "OBFCL." Rae was also my favorite member growing up vs Ghost now.

I stand by this still

@dik cashmere

What you think?

The people who said Golden Arms, RZA and Cappadonna should never discuss rap or hip hop

I hope they're fourth cousins or some shit
