Kendrick Lamar disses Drake & J Cole on Metro Boomin & Futures Album/ Rick Ross Responds/ Kanye Responds/Kendrick Responds 4X / Drake Responds 3X

The only way Drake can wins this beef is to sneak up behind Kendrick and

But Mal's talking like he saw Kendrick beating up Whitney and that he had to pull him off of her! :roflmao:

Okay take off 89% crazy 2 fabric sheets and a lysol boost

I thought his points on being fair with criticism and holding BOTH sides to the same standard was true.

I think Drake summed up perfectly why they accepted his behavior:

I'm the hit maker everybody needs

Drake's racial ambiguity and clean cut black guy image (think: SAFE) allowed him to travel and move in circles those Atlanta or street niggas might not have had access to. And Drake on any Martin Luther would be BBQ chicken.

Up until now, Drake was the black guy from the suburbs that had a hood ass cousin in the city that all the whites wanted to know and be like but didn't have access to.

Now Drake has gotten too comfortable on the wrong side of the tracks without realizing he's a goofy being used. Now that these dudes got access to that side they're pushing him aside, because it's easier for a hood nigga to navigate both those arenas than it is for Drake to make it in the hood without that stamp of approval.
Nice post. Drake is like that family member that made people think he could get street shit done, when all the while, he was running to a cousin that could. Kendrick is like that cousin.

Most people in entertainment are opportunists. Most lack a moral compass and integrity so they don't give a shit about people's behaviors while they can still profit off them. Those actors knew about Woody Allen's allegation but they still hopped in those movies because they knew he almost always gets nominated for Oscar's and it would do wonders for their career. Had it not been for the Ronan Farrow HBO doc (Allen vs Farrow -- good watch) they'd still be doing his movies. Same with Weinstein. It wasn't a secret what he was doing. They all knew, but he was a cash cow. Drake is no different. Folks have been calling him a culture vulture for the longest, but it was a quid pro quo working with him. He got to leech culture of you and get some street cred, you got yourself a #1 record. At least Kendrick can say he's been standing on business for ten years. Future, Metro, and Ross look like the opportunities have dried up so now they're done with him.

Here I am sitting at my local cafe working, and the owner, a late middle-aged (50ish) white woman, is talking about the K Dot and Drake beef with the staff.
This woman looks every bit like a typical Karen. I'm sitting here in silent astonishment. Never have I thought this convo would be had by this type of person.
lol, who’s side was she on ?

My homeboy is a middle school teacher in an affluent Houston suburb...

He's sending me screenshots of one of his students asking his opinion of a power point presentation she put together for extra credit about Kendrick v Drake.

What a world we live in

These stories aren't really that crazy.

I think we sometimes forget how big hip hop has become and the fact that most people (of all races and cultures) under the age of 60 have been listening to hip hop all their lives.

I believe this. I don't believe Drake called them in, so it's not like he's on some sucka shit, but I do believe the higher-ups want this over. Drake is an ATM. He makes everyone money. UMG, Nike, T-Mobile, Sprite, and Apple Music want this over. This beef is brand toxic. They signed up the quirky, talented, clean-cut rapper/actor from Toronto to be the face of their brands. GenZ doing remixes of BBL Drizzy and speaking about his enduring love for younger women is TERRIBLE for business. This is what J.Prince was warning Drake of back during the Pusha beef. No one can be affiliated with am alleged pedophile.

True.
Hip-hop is 40+ years old at this point.

She was undecided.

According to some on here that's Drake's fan base

I've always known this, but an eye opener was when I went to Lagos, Nigeria back in 2017 and that's all they were playing.. Even the multiple hip hop stations were playing all the current music we were listening to back in the USA....I was like DAMN.....

Even the damn H&M and sports apparel shops like Foot Lockers in Cape Town, South Africa were all playing music like Lil Baby, Rick Ross, and etc....Just mind blowing....
