Dennis Graham called his own son a liar, says he lies on songs to sell records
Earlier this month, the rapper’s father appeared on Nick Cannon’s radio show, where he said that Drake pretended their relationship was estranged in his song lyrics so he could “sell records”.
“I always been with Drake,” Graham said.
“I talk to him, if not every day, then each other day. We really got into a deep conversation about that. I said:
‘Drake, why are you saying all of this different stuff about me?
Man, this is not cool.’
“He said: ‘Dad, it sells records.’”

I don’t know typically I’d agree but label don’t face to do much when you’re trending and word of mouth is generating buzz.
The more hate Drake gets the more sympathetic he becomes ant next roll out gonna be his Confessions album….gonna be his biggest album to date….
This been Drakes whole rap career. He knows how to pick and choose his targets. He chooses what he believes are soft targets and then drops on em.
Then when the rebuttals come and shit goes left, he plays the victim and emotes to his angels and bitches to sell more. Rinse and repeat. His formula is corny af but it works for his numbers.
But I recognize this is our fault as a culture. We collectively lowered the bar and started saying, “he got bars” when many knew he didn’t.
We allowed mediocrity to take center stage.

We noticed a LOT of the artists he specifically named were starting to be forgotten and marginalized by the new wave of rappers.
I cannot say I have REALLY liked anything else he has done but that first one?
