Are people deaf or did they miss when Aubrey said he was done? He wasn’t going to battle anymore after this drop. Basically he said what he said and now he’s bowing out and conceding. Now, he could be lying but we’ll have to see.
As far as the actual song, it was a rebuttal that he had to do. He doubled down on the stuff he said about Kdot and his wife with no backing as well. He denied the allegations. And he said he wasn’t going to go any further with the battle.
It wasn’t anything scathing or make you hop out your seat, but it was a drop that he had to do. We can breakdown what was said and why but at this point I think the world has spoken. You’re either Team Drake at this point or Team Kendrick. Aubrey’s drop didn’t change many minds like Kendrick’s last two drops did.
Kendrick definitely united the culture in a way that hasn’t been done and versus one of Hip Hops biggest stars. Now, we have to see how Drake is received from this point forward. Is it business as usual and the industry going to still fuck with him heavy? Or are some of the industry going to slowly back away from him? Especially Atlanta.
