you level up certain stats but not your character itself, if that makes any sense.
and you have to defeat mini bosses to acquire anything, at least that's how far i have gotten at this point
I still die in a couple of hits - really forces you to increase your fighting skills.
my skills are trash
I've upgraded on certain weapons but I'm still trying to find that one to fit my mage.
I am looking forward to using this though....It's gonna be awhile before I use it though since my strength is so low.
It scales with Strength,Dex and Intelligence. I just need to bring my strength up but in the meanwhile I've been using the Cross-Naginata and Long Sword as my secondary weapons with my staff.
That's why I have my Vigor around 40 so far. I'm trying to have my Vigor,Mind,Faith and intelligence at 80 before I face the final boss.
i have the fallingstar beast jaw. haven't used it much though.
the soft cap on vigor is 40 (where you are now) and the hard cap is 60. You get minimal gains after that.
i bet it's fun casting all them spells/incantations.
i've hit quite a few licks over the years with open box items

I originally wanted to be a pure mage but I saw all those incantations and was l like I have to change my build...
My next two builds will be a bleed samurai while my third will be a dragon prophet...I might make me a fourth class that does status as a mage like poison and scarlot rot...

i'm just holding out for the DLC
i'm hearing it is 60hrs worth of content.
Here is one I bought, it's was the 2TB. Now they have 4 and 8TB but they ain't cheap.

I've been watching a lot of lore on YouTube.. If,you're a game I like there's a high chance I'm gonna look up the lore for it....lol
As,for my other builds outside my samurai build I'm gonna take my time with it.
They said the DLC is big as Limgrave and that we're gonna get new weapons and spells.

Miyazaki said the DLC is suppose to be hard as the second half of the main game....
Either way,I can't wait to play it.
Yeah I'm excited about this as well. Will be good to play college football again. Now 2K need to do college basketball
