Because Maxey was ALREADY good?

They conveniently edited out the beginning of the play where maxey pushes off and fouls Josh hart. Ironically
And right before that they fouled hartenstein on the rebound

I don't know the other contestants or what that post said, but I'm guessing you're talking about Maxey's most improved player award.
Maxey's numbers improved, 5.6 ppg, 2.7 asg and .8 rebounds.
He started 29 more games this season than last so I'm not sure if he was truly deserving of that award.
Great player and I like Maxey, but "Most improved"?
Yeah it was weird.
Yeah, the window is beginning to close with KD (he should have stayed in Golden State).
