Maybe 2 or 3 years before the boy scout baby face gets stale. Being on Netflix and being able to use profanity should give him a edge and might help keep his character fresh. As long as he's the kids favorite wrestler, Cody face run will continue going.

Yeah, for the demographic of 3-12! He demonstrated himself; "LET'S GO CENA!!! | CENA SUCKS!!!" If you're a Make A Wish kid John Cena is GREAT!!!...wait you're SERIOUSLY comparing mainstream Cena to what Cody COULD do?!?!? LISP Cody?!?!? You're going to have HIM act? But even Cena switched it up somewhat where you had different variations of the same character. What's the difference between this WWE Cody and AEW Cody? Same moveset, same outfits. This American Nightmare really doesn't have longevity, he's rode this "Story" storyline for what 2 years. He's finished it...now what? Okay he has to keep the tile. But what happens when he loses it? How does he lose it? Is he gonna be super Cena where he gets beat ring to post and pulls out a win at the last minute? Those aren't Meltzer 5 Star matches!!! He really painted himself into a corner with this character. So we are subjected to more promos. "What do you wanna talk about?" WHAT'S NEXT FOR YOUR CHARACTER!!!! That's what we want to talk about cause this shyt is stale now. You don't think it was a coincidence that they just happen to have Rock come back when Cody won Royal Rumble back to back? No, my hot take, they planned on milking this Story bullshyt for another year!

Cody won't wear out his welcome as fast in WWE than in AEW.
Different audience and demographic that he's appealing to in WWE than in AEW.
Many more women, children and casual fans in WWE that eat up the whole white meat babyface act.
As opposed to AEW where it's the most hardcore of wrestling fans that follow everything, are easily jaded and quick to shit on anything they don't like.
I do agree he needs to switch things up eventually down the road or his act will grow old, but for now he's golden.

Bruh, I have to disagree with this...When you go back read my comments or anybody else goes and read it..You will see I might say in my weekly thoughts and reviews about The AEW shows is Good, or Damn(not damned) Good, or Alright, or Solid, or Ok, or Action Packed, or So So, or Ehh...I usually say those phases on my opinion of the AEW weekly shows ..Don't forget, I say "Overall" at the end of my reviews of AEW as well...OK, But I see you going back reading my comments about my thoughts about AEW!!....lol....I appreciate it!!... :grin:

I don't watch NJPW just only AEW Brother!!...But they work with AEW sometime and also they have a ppv they do together called Forbidden Door!!..It's one of AEW best PPV's...It's a good ppv they put on!!..:yes:

Agree with mastermind, the dude seems to have tons of talent.

also agree with EPDC in a way, he needs to learn to slow shit down and let the match breath some in between moves, there was also a spot in the match that looked so silly and choreographed i almost thought I was watching AEW(sorry dub fans lol I couldn't resist)

But this is why he's on NXT, he'll hopefully develope nicely and we can only dream about what a match between him and ricochet could look like.

Yeah, I remember before he left AEW, they was trying to make him a heel but he refused and wanted to stay a good guy!!....I think it might would have worked for him being a heel at AEW cause the fan was starting to boo him and about to turn on him!!..But he stay as a babyface!!...

Yeah see I don’t see it but I think we underestimate the blue collar, cac all American crowd. Some crowd that votes for Trump. Not saying that’s all his fan base but I think there’s a fanbase that went untapped when Roman was champ and they about to cash in. He ain’t changing no time soon.

I think what he saying is it’s hard to say you’re a wrestling fan but you don’t watch the biggest company inn the world? Like he said that’s like saying you a huge football fan but only watch XFL and USFL lol.

He might can get away with it. I’m not a Cody fan though I’ve come to accept that he should be champion…..but they can do so much with him. And we all hated the Cena stuff at the time but in hindsight they were right. They made a lot of money off him and he’s one of the biggest celebs in the world. Cody doesn’t have his crossover appeal but he plays this role well. I’d imagine once people stop buying merch they’d have no problem changing his character and he won’t either….this fool was Stardust….ain’t no way he won’t be down for change.

Yes. I bad talk AEW and WWE from time to time, because I'm a wrestling fan.

Yes, I lean more towards the WWE style of wrestling because that's what I enjoy, versus the flippy Lucha style Mexican stuff or the "SCRONG STYLE Puroresu" stuff from Japan.

A fan will be vocal about the thing they love, when that thing they love is doing dumb shit. I'm not only going to post my appreciation of things, I will, as you mentioned call out dumb shit when I see it, in WWE as well as in AEW.

Why? Because I'm a wrestling fan.
