Gunther definitely needs to be in the title picture, but like you said I don't like the way they ended his streak. Made him look way too beatable and like he doesn't belong with the likes of Roman and Cody. Not a good look.

I'll assume that they were playing it real safe with the move cause if you mess it up beyond Gunther getting fucked up if you do it wrong he ends up outside the ring messing up the finish.
To me Gunther is the best in the world right in part because his matches always look realistic and make sense. The ending didn't make sense. Have Gunther mess up a big move or get knocked to the outside then Sami could hit the DDT thru the turnbuckles and go into the rest of it. Him getting a burst of energy after being brutalized for 5-10 minutes was not it.
On to Sami vs Chad Gable for that belt and Gunther becoming a menace for a World Title.
So, Cody and Seth get the shit beat out of them tonight and then tomorrow, Cody "finisssis, tha ssssssthory"
