College Basketball: Bronny James will enter the NCAA transfer portal and leave USC UPDATE: ENTERING THE DRAFT!

Bron putting his son in the league is to show young kids how much of failures their parents are. Slave for these jobs their whole life but too pussy to demand they hire their kids. Only dumbasses believed Bronny James wouldn't get drafted because they are employees who have no power or control and don't understand how power works. Michael Jordan and a lot of previous NBA superstars failed their kids. They could've did this, but didn't want it bad enough. Oh well. Now Bron haters gotta root against his kids another decade while their kids struggle in this shit economy.

I dont think anybody who saw this kid play this season thinks that declaring for the NBA Draft is the best thing for him.

Loving your son also means doing whats best for them, and protecting them from themselves.

Bronny isnt even G league quality right now.

Should've sent him overseas

That's Bron just doing what the cac's do.

DEI baby

Devils Envy Inkosi

While I agree that it appears that Bronny is not ready for the NBA, Lebron is as qualified as any to evaluate Bronny's potential and put him in the best position to succeed. maybe Bronny would improve more in the NBA than in the NCAA.
There have been plenty of mediocre players in the NBA. Especially non Black players. According to Harvard's coach, Jeremy Lin was the weakest player on Harvard's Basketball team his freshman year. He averaged 4.8 ppg and 1.8 apg for HARVARD his Freshman year. He lasted 8 years in the NBA and made multiple millions. There are dozens of CACs who have had NBA careers as role players who had much less potential than Bronny.

Dwayne did it first….

I think LeBron was putting a little too much pressure on his oldest son a year or two ago before he went into college. Let the boy play it out if he’s good he’s good if he’s not, he still will have money in his pocket

I understand what you saying But I honestly do not believe it was deliberate of Lebron part. He was out here hyping his kid. I get it.

Btu yeah he has to be MUCH more mindful of the effects of that.

And it’s nothing wrong with hyping your kid up if I was in LeBron shoes I will have the same thing, but there is a limit.

^^^

I think Bron fully realizes that now

Especially if his wife is the supermom we all know she is

Everybody that says Bronny isn't ready will find a way to root against him his entire career. They will be too proud to admit they were wrong and hate on him just like they did his dad. Then repeat the process with Bryce.

Without the heart attack he would have been drafted. Now he is G league at best. I wouldn't risk my health messing around with these colleges either. If he has to grind in the G league for 3-4 years so be it. He is only 6'3, unless he learns to shoot at a 3 pointers at a 40% clip he wasn't going to make it anyway. He is rich and seems to be a good person. He will be fine.

The 2025 draft is loaded. The 2026 draft is loaded. Why not take a shot at being 2nd rd draft pick. Fuck around and have San Antonio pick him, have LeBron opt out and sign with SA, Victor and Pop. Now they are cooking.

Kid needs to go to another school

Trying to bring nepotism on the court to the NBA :smh:

from a basetball perspective. his son is garbage. from a father perspective, I understand and will give bron a pass. I'd do the same shit for my kid if I could.

Why are all the comments assuming that he's going to be in the draft when he put his name in the draft and in the transfer portal as many other people have done? He's most likely going to be playing college basketball next year not in the NBA this just allows him to experience the process and to learn exactly how the NBA views him as a prospect. It better sets him up to pick a school that will develop him best based on whatever assessment he is given.

He's Lebron's son. He doesn't need to go through the draft process to find out what they think of him. He's had access to everything since he was born. Lebron and Klutch know scouts, trainers and GM's.

He averaged 5 points and under 30% from three. He needs to improve every fuckin thing.

bronny isn't ready for the nba but this might be his best shot at getting in to be honest. its not that he's average or great its just that he's the son of a legend and its gonna be damn near impossible to measure up to that no matter what. i'm cheering for him tho

its a shame that he's putting that much pressure on his son... :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh:

Again I don't think it was intentional and also it was going to be that regardless once he decided to play ball.

We seen this before both good and bad

As a parent I get it.

And Bron has eased off considerably since the heart issue.

I think it will be fine

Them knowing scouts, trainers and GMs who they technically can't talk to and him going thru the process in order to experience it for himself and show them live and direct who he is as a player is 2 very different things. Teams seeing him in a game playing a few minutes vs seeing him in person going thru one of their workouts to see where he truly is as a player and talent is also 2 very different things.
He needs to improve which is why he didn't declare for the draft with no option of going to school. He's not the first to do this and he won't be the last. Brandon Roy declared for the NBA draft out of high school when the chances of him getting drafted were non existent, went back to school, improved and became an accomplished NBA player. Something like that may very well happen here

I heard Kendrick Perkins saying the same thing and it made no sense to me, there's no way you can be below average in college with 18-21 year olds and think you could develop better playing with 25-30+ grown men. LeBron isn't qualified to evaluate Bronny because Bronny is his son so as we've seen from his post he's delusional talking about Bronny is better than some NBA players he has seen. This move to even consider entering the draft has to be all on Lebron because no way Bronny thinks he did anything this year that would make the NBA view him as a prospect
