Do you have car note?

O hell naw. My maxima is paid off, but I was only paying like $450 a month with a rate of 2.7%.

I wonder what their credit score is?

Bought my truck new in 2011, paid off 2013, no car payment since then.... My next new truck will be paid cash....soon...maybe......waiting for that Infinity truck to come out.

Most people don't know this but the moment you drive that thing off the dealership, it's already devalued. Also, better pray you don't drive long distance to work. High Mileage will also devalue the car quicker than shit. these two are fucked. Husband's car still at 74K....That almost 50% on owning a home (depending on the area)...

just imagine the insurance and fuel payments!!!! She has a fake tan, fake dyed hair, filter, and fake lips. She isn't living in reality. I know people like them and I don't know how they make it. 2 years ago I paid my diesel truck off and it was nice to not have a car payment. Recenlty bought a used Toyota Camry because I wanted a sedan. Car note around 300 bucks and I'm happy as heck. Folks gotta stop being slaves to car payments.

It's a trend on tiktok asking dealership salespeople their car payments to normalize high payments.
People are basically paying a second rent/mortgage on their cars.

TWO FOOLS!!!!!

Plus, it's hard to sell those high end trucks now, so they are not worth as much as they used to be on the used market. They are fucked up in both those vehicles for YEARS!!!!!

14% too!! :smh:
Two American-made cars that even when they do pay them off won't last for long after you get done paying them off. There will be so much and repair bills that you'll go broke on that shit too.

Cars are just a way to get around. I don't believe in spending a bunch of money on fucking cars. I have a 2017 Kia Sportage with 79,000 miles on it and my note is 300 a month. I'll get done paying that off this year or next and it'll last me another 7 years of no car note. Y'all can have them new shits

**edit**
The only thing I've done to my car is change the oil, change the tires and brakes and rotors

I don't have no car payments thank the lord,we got what we have before covid and the rest of the high interest rates.I want a sports car but that's just a want that I don't need so.

They'll only sell you what you're willing to pay if more people wouldn't buy you'll get a better deal.

This generation is supposed to be smarter but.....

Would you say it’s smart to borrow the money from your 401k or 401a and pay the car off 100% and repay the loan with your paychecks ?

If your APR is high yes since you’re just borrowing from your 401k not a withdrawal. You’re essentially paying yourself back. My wife did that when we remodeled our main crib.

I wouldn't do that. Too much room for error. One of the Techs at my job borrowed from his to buy a used truck, against my advice, and 4 months later he quit for a higher paying job, and a few months after that, he got fired from that job. You know what they say, advice is only as good as the person you give it to.

is there a downside to buying a car in full and not having a note?
Not that I see.

No interest and a little more bargaining power when buying.

Actually, dealerships do NOT like when you pay cash in full
Because they make their money off financing/interest
Plus some banks even give them a little bonus (kickback)
If they can sign up more people with loans
