I'm glad she wasn't taken off the case, but they both did mess up. The delay and Wade being most likely removed gave team trump at least some of what they wanted. The mess up was more with their testimony than with the actual relationship. They really should have just admitted to them being together at some point after he had been hired (I know they denied that, but it didn't come across believable). Their testimony works against them like Bill Clinton's testimony worked against him back in 1998.... His testimony didn't get him convicted, and he kept the white house, but he took some damage.

That's always the tactic, whether the delay is a couple weeks, couple months, couple seasons, etc. The Judgement is that she has to either remove herself or remove Wade. This particular commercial-break delay could have been avoided but then again, perhaps that was for the best since the Judge helped her refine her case concerning the recorded phone call and ethical optics. Sometimes things have an interesting way of working out.

The governor removing a county elected official is a slippery slope. We know Trump called the Secretary of State and Kemp in Georgia. Jack Smith is also coming for Trump on this. If Kemp interferes he's a fool. He has refused to so far.

Willis' dating choice was not an unforced error and it did not give the Trump team a gift.
Nothing material came of it at all to benefit Trump. In fact it puts them in a weaker position.

There was a host that recalled her paying in cash because it was so unusual and came forward to support her story. I don't think she lied about anything except perhaps when the relationship began, but that wasn't proven one way or the other.

the special prosecutor is getting taken off of the case. That's an outcome neither she or he wanted. Them fucking and then not being forthcoming about the timeline in court testimony was an unforced error. The judge literally went at them about their testimony and said one of them has to go. Again, I'm glad she's still on the case... you can look back at all of my posts in this thread and see what I've said about that. ....but the lead special prosecutor is getting kicked off the case and the whole thing has been delayed. None of that is good.
