Well, Stardom has the upcoming "American Dream" show April 4th in Phily. She could make an appearance there. Then later in the month they have their big "All Star Grand Queendom" show in Yokohama Japan. She should definitely be at that show and of course she'll show up at AEW/NJPW "Forbidden Door 3" and NJPW Wrestlekingdom 19.
I know it's only been a few weeks but so far the signings of Ospreay, Okada and Mercedes are home runs for AEW.
I'm looking forward to watching it!
I get that you’re excited, but it is still too early to say that, especially since Ospreay and Okada failed to grow their weekly TV audience. I’m expecting to see Mercedes give them a bump, but success and home runs should be measured on growth, and AEW has been losing its audience yearly.
I'm definitely getting ahead of myself. I just like what I'm seeing so far. Hopefully they can keep it up and grow the audience.

I turned off Dynamite after the Mercedes segment. Didn't watch the show and caught wind that this was the main event. Lolz it reminds me of that Kenny Omega clip where he wrestled a blowup doll.

I see the potential with Ospray and Okada. But I don’t get this Sasha push. It’s coming off as a knock off of Sasha Banks. Where do we draw the line on suspension of belief? Is it Riho being able to pick up Willow? Is it Undertaker's supernatural ability to summon powers to heal himself because he's dead? Is it Hulk Hogan's superpower of "Hulking up" making him impervious to pain for 5 minutes? Where is the line drawn? Because if we can accept all that other shit Riho picking up Willow shouldn't be an issue.
You mentioned the other day that you preferred the "realness" of NWA/WCW wrasslin versus the cartoony WWF/WWE style.
Ain't nothing "realistic" about Riho pulling off those moves and if she were to do those on a woman the size of Willow, at least make it look believable.
The art of wrestling revolves around making a fight look realistic to the crowd without hurting your opponent.
Yes, there is some suspension of disbelief the audience should play into, but I'd believe Hulk Hogan "hulking up" using the audience (or steroid and cocaine induced) to power him through to victory, over Riho pulling off those moves on Willow.
They should have recreated that Keith Lee Adam Cole pounce from NXT. She should have sent Riho out of the ring.
As a fan I was looking forward to her return to WWE with the increase in woman talent.

It actually makes sense she needs the WWE more than the WWE needs Mone.
I give Riho a pass because despite her being small she works her ass off to deliver good matches and she's generally a kind hearted person. She doesn't deserve the hate she faces online. Is she my favorite Joshi wrestler? Absolutely not! Wouldn't even be in my top 20 but she goes out there, plays the underdog role well and works hard to win over the crowd and for that I'll give her credit.

Jamie Hayter isn't a NXT Reject. Neither is Thunder Rosa, Mariah May, Deonna Purrazzo, Hikaru Shida, Athena, Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Julia Hart, Serena Deeb, Skye Blue, Riho and then you add the Stardom women like Mayu Iwatani, AZM, Mina Shirakawa, Utami Hayashishita, Syuri and the list goes on. She DOESN'T NEED WWE at all. WWE will be fine and AEW/Mercedes will be fine.

And that's perfectly fine. She's not gonna appeal to everybody. There's certain wrestlers that don't appeal to me but I'm never going to be against (not saying you are) them making a living.
Every time I see her face off and defeat a larger wrestler, it makes me think of how silly it would be to see Marko Stunt defeat a larger wrestler.
Would you buy into Marko Stunt pulling those moves off on Keith Lee? Lolz I wouldn't. Which is why I can't ever buy into Riho doing those moves on Willow or Nyla Rose.
