It really remains to keep the lettergang from running naked in the streets after the clubs close.

That's who is really behind the measure.
They don't give a fuck about the strippers. They are just using them for press because its provocative.
They said "how can the clubs be profitable?" when these laws have been around for years and they have been making money all this time.
They could push for the laws to make strip clubs safer like installing panic buttons, etc. and all of the other stuff without the alcohol permits.
Trust me, these f*gg*ts just want to be able to legally expose themselves in regular clubs that serve alcohol.
They ain't fooling nobody with this bullshit.
