The whole kevin hart thing was not about shittin on kevin...it was about GATE KEEPING. The OTHER aspect of that story thats missed is that whatever the reason Kev couldn't do it...he PERSONALLY never talked to her HIMSELF. He personally made the commitment but when it came time to back out SOMEONE ELSE called her.
And the fact that he NEVER FOLLOWED UP and explained what this "miscommunication" could have been is just a pussy move plain and simple. THIS coming from a powerful person????
Gary explains that sometimes people just don't have time and that
personal time is important and so on...well wasn't that what put her on this road of blackballing and freeze out in the first place??
Wasn't THAT her explanation for declining Lions Gate on the Precious press junket thru Europe on the run up to the oscar (that she won anyway)?? She and her manager personally spoke to them and said thanx but no thanx THEN she became "difficult to work with".
Gary's making the argument that Kev has a right to decline working with her for whatever reason with NOT EVEN A PERSONAL CALL.. and she needs to understand that and go away...but she cant say no without there being repercussions and consequences???
Which brings us back to GATE KEEPING....who got into Kevs ear and told him to NOT do business with her?? This is AFTER he loaned her money and was there when shit was bad (oh and she that paid back with interest..people forget that part). So whose pulling that string?
if all her "sweet babies and sister girl" stuff is fake.... then what is it when someone says "I got your back" then have someone else call to say no.
Why is Kev's fakeness acceptable but her's not??
Gary mentions the DL incident...DL's crew can insinuate that her husband is gay...TO HER FACE as part of an on air gag and at another time using his talkshow platform allowed others to speak ill of her husband and call him a fake manager whose misguiding her career is something she should take in stride as a comedian.... but her insinuating that DL has a history of not supporting women including his own kid and using his daughter's situation to illustrate that during a stand up routine (like DL's crew.. it was a part of her job in a comedy show) is crossing some unforgivable line. Gary brings up how Mo puts people on the spot by asking what if it was YOUR mother or YOUR sister... people have no problem talking shit about a person close to her but she cant do the same??
Again...someone takes a shot at her its all in the game...she takes a shot back OH MY GOD HOW COULD SHE?!!?
Someone does something like go on a podcast and drag up convoluted beefs from years ago in an effort to promote some upcoming project he has going and called brilliant.
She does the EXACT SAME THING and its horrible!! She's hurting people!
