Yes, and no. I have a couple rental properties in Baltimore. I have always hand a fondness for the city since I stepped off a Greyhound bus back in 2004 and thought I was in North Philly. I’m just a guy that wants D.C. to get their statehood but who also understands American politics at play.
The governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, was on the black radio station WURD this morning talking about ACT 40. He signed the law but he’s telling the host to holla at the Attorney General for clarity on the budget for the issue.
Republicans win easily when Democrats purposely suppress democratic votes. On Karen Hunter’s satellite radio program yesterday they were talking about GERD. Stunts like Shapiro’s cause political indigestion and the party recommend political Pepsid which is known to cause cancer.
Those polls are bs imo. MAGA Republicans HATE Hogan and will stay home. He won't win Montgomery, Prince George's, Baltimore City, and Baltimore County. Doubt he would win Howard and Anne Arundel also.

Hogan is definitely popular in the state...he can win...Fox News and the Repubs need to leave this race alone because their increased coverage will only hurt him...people like Hogan but this will only remind them that electing him is essentially helping those fuckers

Hogan entering this race is a whole new ballgame. Alsobrooks was already running a struggle campaign, she's low on funds and just recently fired most of her campaign staff to bring in new people. Whatever DNC apparatus in Maryland that pushed all of the prominent political figures to endorse Alsobrooks, they really jumped the gun, because now with Hogan in the race she doesn't stand a chance.
I saw her first ad campaign about a week ago (followed immediately by an ad for Trone) and it was more identity politics bullshit about how most Senators are rich, white men and I'm not that. That shit just doesn't move the needle any more, she's running a stale paint-by-numbers Democratic campaign and what's worse she doesn't have the personality or name recognition to bring in any big prominent donors. She should step down and give this shit to Trone, at least he's got deep pockets enough to hang with Hogan. Since Moscow Mitch personally recruited Hogan for this we already know he's bringing not only name recognition but a fully funded war chest from the GOP donor Legion of Doom. With Trone's money and the endorsements that Alsobrooks nabbed prematurely, I think he would have a decent shot. Nonetheless, this race will be very interesting.

I live in DC and I have seen like 4 David Trone ads on MSNBC, all with a black woman speaking for him. Why is that?
I voted for Bernie Sanders in 2020, not Kamala Harris or Cory Booker. Because I thought the old Jew was leaps and bounds better than the black candidates. I never vote just on race. But here we’re talking about an average liberal woman who is black vs a conservative Democrat who is a rich white man. It’s an easy choice for me.

Hogan won TWICE in a Democrat stronghold, that should tell you something. He has enough equity with Democrats as a moderate Republican to win. Doesn't matter how much $ the Dems pump into the state, they're not winning against a former governor with a 77% approval rating.
