I wonder if this is gonna be TK's announcement tomorrow. This would be huge for AEW if they get a deal on this streaming platform.

This would definitely be a big deal for AEW if they can get on this new streaming platform, but my understanding is that this new platform will be for ACTUAL non-scripted sports (NFL, NBA, NCAA, MLB, etc.). We'll see though...

Rick Rude's run in WCW during the early 90s was CRIMINALLY underrated. IMO it was his best work. Damn shame it ended because of that injury.

I haven't played that 2k shit in years have they added anything like creating factions and like a good career mode?
Haven't played since 2K19 but yeah you can create factions and play either Universe Mode which is week by week where the game generates matches, feuds, stories, or you can customize each show from the matches down to adding WCW or AEW on the weekly show schedule. There's also a GM mode they brought back in 2K23.

The career mode is called "My Rise".

This is the shit I hate with today's society. Yes the man fucked up (and I'm sure some of the higher ups knew say before now) but now they're going to delete him from the history books.

There are wrestlers who had great matches and programs that defined their careers. And we can't easily find any of that content because those matches and programs featured Chris Beniot. Are they about to do the same to Brock?

He fucked up and they shouldn't do business with him in the future. But that doesn't mean they need to try to erase his past work.
What did Brock Lesnar do?

I'm not going to lie, as things begin to unfold with the Vince case, what's going on at TNA, etc....I'm starting to lose excitement over things wrestling related. I hope TKO can begin with a clean slate after Mania, but as news hits it just gets uglier and uglier.

Could be Triple H's landing spot....if/when he is let go by WWE....

He's been with TNA since 2002....and this is how they start the year as a revamped TNA?

A number of TNA talents on the Zoom call when they were informed of Scott D’Amore’s departure relayed that during the meeting it was stated that D’Amore had “stepped down” from the company, which was not the case. This didn’t sit well with some talents & as one wrestler said, “This wasn’t the way to start off” a relationship with the locker room, especially since so many had a connection with D’Amore & the vast majority liked him. The meeting did not give talents a chance to ask any questions, which did not endear some talents to the changes. The beginning of the call, when talents were informed about Scott D’Amore’s departure before Anthem execs joined them, was very angry for some talents. - PWInsider

I browsed the Reddit post and they basically replaced him with a suit with no wrestling background. Posters said this is the most TNA thing that could happen. Prowrestling is off to a bad year. What's gonna happen next?

I remember Brian Last on Jim Cornette podcast said bad things happen in TNA but never name names or actions

I can name a couple of things just off the top of my head:
  • Dixie was fucking the talent while she was there. It's pretty much a known fact at this point. But of course, there's always a double standard when it comes to female bosses fucking their male employees.
  • There's some shit that happened with Don Callis and female talent apparently while he was there. NDAs are in place so who knows if we'll ever hear about it.

I see Scott D'Amore joining NXT if/when Shawn Michaels leaves. If TKO is looking to clean house of anyone who had close association with McMahon, I'd expect Triple H, Shawn Michaels and others to be let go.

D'Amore would probably be a great fit with NXT, given better exposure. TNA talent may join him there once their deals are up.
