There was a Dr / staff present but not the on call ob-gyn.......

The baby's shoulders were too wide for the vagina but the Dr tried and tried and tried anyway and pulled so hard she separated the baby's head......

However she wasn't able to get the rest of the body out, so they removed the baby's body by C section....the head was then placed in the crib/cradle to appear as if it was attached to the body and the baby was just sleeping.......

This is heartbreaking!!
So it was a gp?

Shoulder dystocia happens. You push the head back up in the womb and do a stat c section.

Wife told me that less than a year into our relationship.

No amount of money can equal justice for that, but the lawyer is gone Damn, sure try to find a number.

Wild shit. You never know who is dealing with what on a daily basis.

I’m not even trying to be funny, but a baby head stuck in a vagina after birth is not something I thought as a possibility. And now that I know, it just add on to the insurmountable possibilities of human trauma. Crazy.

You ever heard the saying "from the roota to the toota" I heard that means during child birth they had to cut the vaginal opening almost down to the butthole to make it wider for the baby to come through

I don't think it happened exactly like that, I think the article said they broke bones in the baby's neck and skull so essentially he was decapitated but the baby's head wasn't physically torn from the body

If I'm wrong, I apologize. I thought the article said the head was delivered vaginally, but the body was by c section......

*will edit it needed

"Three hours later, Ross was taken for a C-section, according to the suit, but the baby's heartbeat did not register on a fetal monitor.

The surgical procedure removed the baby's legs and body, but his head was delivered vaginally, according to the suit."

And then later.

"The attorneys also said Southern Regional staff discouraged the couple from getting an autopsy, and wrapped and propped the baby up to make it look like his head was still attached to his body."

Then people reported the same

"Attorney Roderick Edmond claimed, per details in the suit, that the baby’s body and legs were removed during a subsequent C-section procedure, but the baby’s head was delivered vaginally, the Associated Press reported"

"The complaint also claimed that the hospital staff did not immediately inform the parents of what happened and only let the parents view the dead child, which was wrapped tightly in a blanket with his head “propped on top of his body in a manner such that those viewing him could not identify that he had been decapitated,” per CNN. "

"When it was all said and done, the baby’s legs and torso emerged through the C-section, according to the plaintiffs.

“The baby’s head was then delivered vaginally,” they said."

From the complaint:

"As a direct and proximate cause of Defendants’ gross negligence, Trevion Isaiah Taylor, Jr.’s attempted vaginal delivery on July 9, 2023, was excruciating and traumatic. Treveon Isaiah Jr. suffered tremendous pain and suffering as Dr. St. Julian applied tremendously excessive tension traction on his head and neck…such tension and traction that it resulted in massive blunt force trauma to his head and neck, multiple skull and facial bone fractures, hemorrhaging on his brain, hemorrhaging in his neck and around his spinal cord, multiple fractures of the bones in his neck…all ultimately resulted in his decapitation."

It's kinda confusing but you still have to read exactly what they are saying, If they had decapitated decapitated the baby then of course the baby's heartbeat wouldn't have registered on a fetal monitor. I refuse to believe the doctor literally pulled the baby's head off during labor unless I hear those exact words from somebody because it's just unbelievable to think they would/could do that and everyone not freak out at that moment

It is,

One report says she caused excruciating pain and excessive trauma to the head, facial bones...etc and spinal cord.

On another report it says the body and legs were delivered by c-section and then the head was delivered vaginally......

The whole head delivered vaginally and legs/body delivered by c section is repeated in all 3 of the reports I posted......

I can't see another way to interpret that. I hope I'm wrong, but that sounds terrible

The first-time parents previously claimed that the medical staff "propped [their newborn's head] on top of his body" to conceal the fact that he was decapitated

The death of an infant who was decapitated during delivery has been ruled a homicide.

On Tuesday, the Clayton County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the July 10, 2023 incident involving newborn Treveon Isaiah Taylor, Jr. a homicide, multiple news outlets confirmed.

PEOPLE reached out to the medical examiner’s office for a statement, but did not immediately hear back.

On July 9, Jessica Ross, 20, was rushed to Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia after her water broke.

A medical malpractice lawsuit filed in Clayton County, Georgia on behalf of expecting mother Jessica Ross alleges her baby was decapitated during delivery at Southern Regional Medical Center in July 2023. The complaint alleges the hospital, doctors and medical staff attempted to conceal the manner of death of the baby from Ross, her boyfriend, Treveon Isaiah Taylor Sr and their family. The Clayton County Medical Examiner and Clayton County Police are now investigating the death.

According to a fraud and negligence lawsuit filed last summer by Ross and her partner Treveon Isaiah Taylor Sr., their baby’s shoulders became stuck in her vaginal canal and she could not give birth naturally "due to shoulder dystocia.”

The medical examiner’s report this week found the baby’s death was due to “shoulder dystocia, arrest of labor, and fetal entrapment in the birth canal,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Tuesday.

Last year’s suit claimed that attending physician Dr. Tracey St. Julian “negligently applied excessive traction” on the baby’s head and the hospital “failed to do a Cesarean section in a timely and proper manner," per CNN. Additionally, it said it resulted in "Treveon Isaiah Taylor Jr.’s decapitation and death.”

The baby’s body and legs were removed during a subsequent C-section procedure, but the baby’s head was delivered vaginally, the Associated Press reported.

The baby, who was the couple’s first child, had been delivered full-term. Ross and Taylor also claimed that the staff attempted to talk them out of an autopsy, and it wasn’t until they had already been discharged from the hospital that they found out about the decapitation.

Per Atlanta’s Fox 5 News, when the new parents asked if they could see and hold their newborn, the baby was reportedly tightly wrapped in a blanket with his head "propped on top of his body" to conceal the fact that he was decapitated.

“This caused immediate, profound emotional and mental anguish for [them]... emotional and mental anguish that they continue to experience and most probably will experience for the rest of their lives,” the 2023 complaint said, per WANF.

“They were so excited about the birth of their first child,” the couple’s attorney Cory Lynch previously told AP. “Unfortunately, their dreams and hopes turned into a nightmare that was covered up by Southern Regional Medical Center.”

Attorney Cory Lynch, left, joined by Treveon Isaiah Taylor, Sr., Jessica Ross, speaks during a news conference, Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, in Atlanta, announcing a lawsuit against a doctor and Southern Regional Medical Center, a hospital south of Atlanta where Ross went on July 9 to have her son.

PEOPLE reached out to Lynch for comment following the Clayton County Medical Examiner’s Office’s homicide ruling on Monday, but did not immediately hear back.

Lynch and attorney Roderick E. Edmond, who both represent Ross and Taylor, are expected to hold a press conference on the case Wednesday.

According to previous reports, it was Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home that informed the medical examiner and the family of the newborn’s decapitation.

The Clayton County Police Department said they are no longer in charge of the investigation, per the AJS. A decision on whether charges could be filed against the doctor who delivered the baby will be decided by the District Attorney’s Office.

In a statement shared with PEOPLE, the Southern Regional Medical Center previously said, “Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the family and all those impacted by this tragic event. Our prayers also remain with the dedicated team of physicians, nurses and staff at Southern Regional Medical Center who cared for this patient.

Is it me or does this keep happening to black babies?! I have yet to see this happening to anyone white! Granted the search I did was about 2 years ago.

I have an extra soft spot for babies.

This was hard to read.

Without knowing all the details, the only defense I can come up with is that the baby began delivering before any medical staff was present.

If thats the case the baby getting stuck isn't the medical staff's fault.

If that baby was in breach presentation and they decided NOT to do a c section, well, they're fucked.
Isn’t your wife a OBGYN?

Has she ever seen anything like this?

Man, malpractice like a motherfucker. If the bitch's pussy is too tight she needs a C-section. No need to rip a baby's motherfucking head off.

I know a bitch whose pussy is so tight it like she has a second butthole, even she had natural births.

Some women aren't built for Natural childbirth. The doctor should recognize this but they don't always. My mom found that out after she had five kids, including a set of Twins. I guess I'm lucky to be here in one piece.

That family needs all our prayers and supports.

And they need to unleash unholy hell on everyone involved in that innocent baby murder

Someone's no longer a Doctor and going to prison while the hospital is about to write a check.

If you're a Doctor whatever type and you're not sure about something don't head to no operating rooms call someone else that why they have cellphones and blue lights in their cars so they can come in.

My wife had to have C-sections for my youngest kids. Two C-sections for 3 kids. My oldest was born naturally from my ex-wife.

I could not imagine what I would have done if I had seen that and I kept looking over the curtain for some reason for both procedures. I guess God wanted me to double check shit was on the up and up.

I pray for this couple and I hope their revenge is colder than those Detroit Streets. They better own that damn hospital after this.
