Lee Giobbie, a 40-year-old financial adviser from Eastampton, New Jersey, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with several federal crimes, including felony charges of civil disorder and obstruction of an official proceeding. Giobbie, federal authorities alleged, yelled "move the gates!" over a bullhorn before the barricades on the east side of the Capitol were breached. He was later recorded at the front of the mob yelling "push, push, push, push!” as they broke through another police line and then helped breach the Capitol building, pushing through the east doors leading into the rotunda, authorities said.

54-year-old Clayton Mullins of LaRue County was sentenced to two and a half years in prison and three years of supervised release. Mullins was ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution to the architect of the capitol. He was also ordered to pay $30,000 in restitution to a metropolitan police officer for medical expenses and nearly $50,000 in fines.

I was talking about this with Vivek, he comes from a state where they use a token factories, typically cars and semiconductors to distract. Meanwhile they push offshoring to boost corporate profits. Those that are special needs or feeble-minded fall for this nonsense.

I think a conservative political candidate that decreases offshoring through tariffs can be more labor friendly then a President Biden that has a union friendly NLRB. Ideally you would want both but having a plethora of manufacturing jobs can offset being non-union.

Founded by the Suhl family in the 1970s, the Lord’s Ranch sits on a 1,100-acre property near the Missouri state line north of Pocahontas. Thousands of troubled youths passed through the remote facility over the decades, many of them sent from states including Illinois, Indiana, Texas and Alaska, as well as Arkansas. It received hundreds of millions of dollars in Medicaid funding throughout the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. The Lord’s Ranch shut down in 2016 after Ted Suhl, the facility’s director for many years, was convicted of bribing a state Medicaid official and sentenced to seven years in federal prison.

Suhl was released by President Donald Trump in 2019 after serving less than half of his sentence, due in part to lobbying by Mike Huckabee — a friend of Suhl’s since at least the ‘90s, when then Gov. Huckabee appointed Suhl to a board that oversaw facilities such as his own — and former federal prosecutor Bud Cummins.

Cobb — who oversaw the bench trial of Samsel and co-defendants James Tate Grant, Paul Russell Johnson, Stephen Chase Randolph and Jason Benjamin Blythe last year — convicted all the defendants of at least two felonies each.
