“ A statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

God Almighty said: {Kill them, and God will chastise them with your hands, and disgrace them, and grant you victory over them, and heal your people, believers. } God Almighty has spoken the truth

A victory for the oppression of the Palestinian people and a response to the American-British aggression against our country.

A clash took place today with a number of American destroyers and warships in the Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab while those ships were providing protection for two American commercial ships. The results of the clash were as follows:

-A direct hit on an American warship.
-Forcing the two American merchant ships to retreat and return.
-A number of our ballistic missiles reached their targets despite the attempt of warships to intercept them.

In the clash, which lasted for more than two hours, the Yemeni armed forces used a number of ballistic missiles.

The Yemeni armed forces confirm that they will continue to prevent Israeli navigation or navigation heading to the ports of occupied Palestine in the Red and Arab Seas until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.

The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that they will take all necessary military measures within the legitimate right to defend our country, our people, and our nation, by targeting all hostile American and British targets in the Red sea.

God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs, the best protector, and the best helper.

Statement issued by Yemeni Armed Forces.”

Military Chronicles on IDF casualties in the conflict in Gaza.

On January 23, Sky News published an article, presenting intriguing statistics on wounded Israeli soldiers amid the growing risks of a prolonged war. The recent loss of 21 soldiers in a single incident is noted as the worst event for the IDF since the start of the conflict, drawing attention to the increasing human toll of Israel's military operation in the Palestinian enclave.

According to Sky News, the Israeli Ministry of Defense informed the Knesset committee that 4544 security force members are currently undergoing treatment and rehabilitation. The report casually mentions that on average, 60 Israeli soldiers are wounded every day, with most being reservists under 30 years old.

Comparing Israel's losses in Gaza to the U.S. military statistics in two battles for Fallujah provides a stark perspective. In the two assaults on Fallujah, U.S. forces lost 151 killed and over 1,000 wounded, resulting in a ratio of killed to wounded around 1/5 or 1/6.

The daily arrival of 60 injured soldiers in Israeli hospitals suggests that during the 90 days of the Israeli operation "Iron Blades" in the Gaza sector, an estimated 5,400 people may have been injured, roughly aligning with the figures presented by Sky News.

Using this logic, the loss ratio of 1 to 5 implies that IDF casualties in terms of fatalities during the Gaza invasion could closely approach or even exceed 1,000 people, contrasting with Sky News' figure of 200 IDF soldiers killed.

It's worth noting that Sky News highlights the age group most vulnerable to injuries – reservists under 30 – whose return to Israel's economy will be in question depending on the severity of their injuries.

Despite the confidentiality of IDF loss data, the history of losses among reservists during Operation "Iron Blades" clearly indicates multiple errors by the Israeli military command, including an overestimation of their own military potential (reservists) and insufficient attention to studying the overall readiness level of the adversary

“The Israeli Foreign Ministry contacted diplomatic missions in Israel to notify them to have essential equipment (like satellite phones) on the ready in case of "a major escalation" which may interfere with their work.”

IJC ruling tomorrow

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is set to give out an interim verdict after South Africa filed a case against Israel, accusing it of carrying out a genocide in the Gaza Strip, where they will decide on emergency and provisional measures against Israel in said verdict.

The court will NOT decide whether Israel is carrying out a genocide against Gaza, merely announce whether it can order emergency or provisional measures in Gaza, while it deliberates on whether Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, which could take another two or three years. South Africa has asked for the ICJ to order a series of measures to be taken in order to prevent violence in Gaza until the court can reach a decision. They include:

- Israel suspends all military operations in Gaza.
- Israel's military organisations not escalate any military operations any further.
- Israel allow access to food, water, fuel, shelter, hygiene, healthcare and sanitation to the Palestinians.
- Israel prevents destruction of Palestinian life in Gaza.
- Israel not to destroy any evidence relevant to South Africa's genocide case against it, and cannot deny international organisations such as fact finding missions to Gaza to help preserve the evidence.

So, what could happen? In the first instance, the case could be dismissed entirely, as Israel claims that the court has no jurisdiction over the case due to Israel's claim about South Africa not effectively communicating with Israel about the case before filing the application to the court, as is required by the court's own rules. If the ICJ announces that this matter is out of their jurisdiction, then South Africa's requests become completely immaterial.

In the second instance, the court could order no measures would be taken, which is unlikely given the scenes of the on ground situation in Gaza. However, even if the court does not order any measures to be taken, this would not mean the end of the entire case, and the allegation of genocide against Israel will be still taken under consideration.

In the third instance, the court could order some or all of South Africa's demands to be applied. Or they could completely disregard South Africa's requests and order entirely different measures determined by the court itself. This is the more likely scenario.

However, whether or not this ruling will make a difference is an entirely different story. Israel can simply decide not to take any measures ordered by the court, whereupon a member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) member can take this matter to the council and vote on a resolution requiring Israel to abide by the measures ordered by the court, but that resolution would most likely be vetoed by the United States and thus rejected. So, to answer the question, "will this really make a difference for Gaza?" Most likely, no.

Hamas has commented on the decision expected by the International Court of Justice tomorrow. They say that their position based on the basic principles of reciprocity and international law is:

-If the court decides on a ceasefire, they will agree and adhere to it as long as Israel adheres to it.

-They will release all Israeli prisoners in exchange for the release of every Palestinian detained by Israel.

-Israel must end their 18 year long siege of Gaza and allow the entry of all the necessary aid required for population relief and reconstruction.”

“ Spokesperson for the Al Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaidah gave an overview on Resistance actions during the week;

- 68 Zionist military vehicles partially or completely destroyed.

- 53 Zionist soldiers eliminated, including 9 snipers who were counter sniped by Resistance fighters, and dozens of enemy wounded.

- Two Skylark reconnaissance planes were shot down.

- 8 drones were seized from the enemy, including 2 suicide drones.

- Short range missiles were used by the Resistance along the entire front on concentrations of the enemy forces and within the Zionist entity itself at different ranges.

- Two tunnels and a minefield were detonated by the enemy.”

Them cats probably ready to leave Gaza

“The IDF publishes a statement declaring that over 38 soldiers were injured in the past 24 hours, 8 of them in Gaza”

yeah - a few weeks ago reporters were watching the isreali hospitals (before gov't crack down on hospitals giving out info)-
noting helicopter arrivals and military ambulances - while talking to staff
based on that they were speculating IDF might be reporting as little as 15-20% of deaths and 70-80% of casualties
It being easier to hide the dead than it is to hide the wounded

they also reported that the majority of the injured were amputees and brain injuries

also I remember a month ago another report cited idf sources - saying they lost 3 troop carriers and passengers (10 to 12 each) in 1 night
