I get it though. You spend millions promoting your wrestler and selling merch just for them to go to another brand and benefit off of what you did? Business is business. Did WWE make Dolph or did Dolph make Dolph? If its the latter then he can build up a new name. In a perfect world its easier for me to know these guys when they keep their names but I also think its kinda cool seeing someone go to NJPW with a whole new name and swag. To me its only corny when they got the same gimmick and same swag but different name.
To me Dean Ambrose sounds better than that Moxley shit but he honestly could stay in AEW. To me it was always clear that he wasn't main event status in WWE like Seth and Roman were. But if they had intentions of bringing him back it would have to be with Seth and Roman. Dean was always a mid carder they was forcing to be a main eventer to me.
Pretty cool moment.
I will say this about AEW...they pay homage to the past wrestlers who have left this earth very well. WWE could learn that from them. You die in WWE its like you never existed. AEW always pays homage even years after death.

I figured that was the plan all along. Most of the big AEW debuts happen at PPVs. No sense having her debut on free TV.

It's the E in WWE. The Rock has came back twice in the last couple months and broke IG & Twitter records. Jake Paul is US Champion because he hits on social media. Dwight Howard will be in the E soon. HHH can't get viral heavy. Yes you need that for more followers but people like us still want a good story to pay off.
Okada leaving New Japan is huge news. Never thought I would see the day. AEW about to get Okada as well as Ospreay. TK will probably give him a deal where he can still work New Japan dates as well as AEW. Exciting times.
