Devoting this much energy to overcriticizing accounts of a high school basketball tryout from a 300 page memoir is disturbing behavior.

I listen to Republicans. I read racists. Etc. If I'm going to learn about something, I don't just take in one perspective.
I view that as limiting myself-- I know I'm going to understand and appreciate what SAS said more because I know where it came from. And it will allow me to understand what he chooses to address and what he does not and determine for myself why, rather than letting him 100% spoonfeed me his side. That's always my perspective.

Its wildly obsessive and flat out weird. The book discusses SAS life, upbringing, career, family, relationships with his parents, failures and successes.. Whitlock goes over it with a fine tooth comb -going as far as contacting the college to verify if SAS was on scholarship- and all hes able to "expose" is he "probably" didnt make 17 shots in a row. This is borderline deranged.

Fuck is he even talking about? They are first in field goal defense (percentage) and fifth in the nation in field goal offense (percentage). This team, more than almost any team before, is balanced. Hell, they are 11th in assists per game.
