I agree. This is what makes wrestling fun. When the talent is spread around and not horded in one promotion.
It was very good. Red Velvet would be In a better position in the women's division if she could stay healthy. Deonna is a future AEW Women's World Champion. It might be until next year before they crown her though. The competition is about to get real stiff with Serena Deeb, Jamie Hayter, and Britt Baker coming back soon.
Nice smoth rolling transition into a F5.
Hopefully they on Youtube. I really want to see that AEW Revolution match.Kenny Omega & Hangman Page VS Young Bucks (AEW Revolution 2020) would be a great place to start. It's considered their greatest match. For other Young Bucks classics I would suggest these ....
Motor City Machine Guns VS Young Bucks (TNA Bound For Glory 2010)
The Briscoes VS Young Bucks (ROH Best In The World 2018)
Lucha Brothers VS Young Bucks (AEW Double Or Nothing 2019)
Golden Lovers VS Young Bucks (NJPW Strong Style Evolved 2018)
Lucha Brothers VS Young Bucks (Ladder match) (AEW All Out 2019)
FTR VS Young Bucks (AEW Full Gear 2020)
Lucha Brothers VS Young Bucks (Steel Cage match) (AEW All Out 2021)
Happy watching.
So when he does those match reviews is that what he's doing? Those big spots he weighs those heavily? Ifs o, then that makes sense so they want people to talk about these matches but that stuff just comes organic you can't make people do it lol. It's the Meltzer/dirtsheet/IWC effect. Everyone is trying to put on a "5-star" match every night.
Good looking card for tonight's show.
The four matches I'll be paying attention to are ...
Will Ospreay vs Kazuchika Okada (Could go either way but Okada will probably go over as Ospreay is close to leaving New Japan.)
Trish Adora vs Guilia (I wouldn't be surprised if Guilia dropped the belt here considering she's close to leaving. I personally would have another Stardom talent like AZM, Mina Shirakawa or Starlight Kid take it off of her but they may think Trish is ready.)
Eddie Kingston vs Gabe Kidd (Kingston matches have become must see for me. I love how much he leans into the All Japan strong style. He should retain here.)
Jon Moxley vs Shingo Takagi (This will be a war. Looking forward to it.)

So Ospreay is like a legit main eventer over there?
Hopefully they on Youtube. I really want to see that AEW Revolution match.

A little bit of both. In NXT she was chubby, but this is the biggest I have ever seen her.Did she gain weight or has she always been this big?
Cool. I’ve seen her wrestle from time to time but never really followed her like that. Not saying she’s Piper Niven/Duprop fat, but was surprised to see her that chubby.A little bit of both. In NXT she was chubby, but this is the biggest I have ever seen her.

Oh, you noticed too?Dana as Great Value Toni Storm

Now it's back to WWE where she'll get an initial pop then get treated like an after thought.
This might be the dumbest comparison I've ever read. Wrestling and sports are not the same thing so you can't compare the two.Meltzer likes well structured (organized) matches where the wrestlers are near flawless in their move execution and storytelling. Usually his highest rated matches involve the three O's. Okada, Omega, Ospreay. But at the end of the day it's just one man's opinion. Wrestlers today are just more athletically gifted than those of the past so they naturally do more in the ring yet old farts like Cornette want them to wrestle like it's the 70's/80's.
It's like someone telling Serena Williams you have to play tennis like Chris Evert. Serena is more athletically gifted then Chris Evert ever was so why should she purposely handcuff herself just to appease some old school farts? Wrestling is just performed at a higher level than the past so accidents are going to naturally happen. It's all apart of the game.
So it looks like the documentary series started off as a Vince McMahon fluff piece but now is leaning toward some scandalous OJ: Made In America type of shit. NOW I want to watch it. Hopefully it goes all the way in.

Deonna's response to those who body shame her.
