The league is greedy and most likely a test. Already have people paying for Prime to watch Thursday night games. They will test Peacock for a few years to see the revenue. Then most likely all playoff games will be on a pay service. Then a few years after the Super Bowl will be on a pay service, most likely YouTube since it already has the Sunday Ticket.

The league is greedy. And with all this extra revenue most likely the players will not put in a clause to get some kickback.
