I didn’t see the game but my hope was that in the long run, a loss last night would be better than a win because it would force change. This is what the beginning of that would look like.

This is the very first take I've read on this from a rando account but I thought "that might be right."
I don't think the team wanted to trade him with all the fuss about him as an ex-foe and incorporating him into the team. The group seemed to have really bought into that and he came off the bench willingly and has been an upgrade.
But if a team is just looking for cap space and the Warriors can get something for that contract, it's a convenient time to ship him and his injury doesn't affect him as an asset from that perspective.

That's including at least two games he was tossed out of, right? He played like 12 seconds in the Gobert game.
I'm looking at a much bigger sample size, like the last two years. People don't appreciate defense and they just see triple singles in the stat sheets but Draymond is the second best and second most important player on the team.
That's the reason the dubs are in trouble.

This how I know teams don’t take Denver seriously as a threat to repeat. Dwight Howard has a proven track record of neutralizing Jokic yet no team has signed him. I would’ve at least expected a Western Conference team to do so since they will most likely have to see Jokic in the playoffs.
But then again, 2020 was a while ago and maybe teams don’t trust dude to play his role. Who knows.
Well, at least he wont have to go through the pain of trying to put a ring on that fractured hand.
