Thats how it was back in the 80s Wrestlers would travel to the various Territories.
The territory system from back in the day is not the same as what he's proposing.
Back then you had largely independent promotions that all worked under the NWA banner and respected each other's territory.
Some promotions would exchange talent with each other but for the most part they stayed independent of each other.

What’s the purpose of this thought? What incentive does WWE have with working with promotions like TNA? I don’t think it’s to satisfy fans wet dreams…..I think it’s cool but just knowing how WWE does business just wondering what do they get out of it.
Hell they let Mickie James do the Rumble as Impact Women's Champion. That only served to boost Impact.

Exactly. At the end of the day any partnership has to make sense for BOTH parties, not just one.
He just named a bunch of Japanese and second-rate US promotions where partnerships are beneficial to both sides.
The closest WWE ever came to having a partnership was during the mid 90s when they had ECW, Japanese and Mexican wrestlers regularly on their program.
Of course what was also during a time when business was down for WWE so it made sense at the time to partner with other promotions in the hopes that it would help business, which it eventually did.
I agree. Yeah I get he likes Japanese wrestling but shit don’t make me no difference. It might be the new wave I’m just not understanding it or why WWE would do it.

I don’t even know why at the time but how did ECW even get on WWE programming? See back then it made since because WWE was in competition with WCW. Or at least that’s how I’ve always understood it. To me it’s like the NBA collaborating with the Big 3 by sending Steph or Lebron over there to hoop lol.

Do she eventually replace Bayley in Damage Control Io/Asuka/Kairi/Guilia with Dakota vs Charlotte/Becky/Bailey/Bianca.

I actually hope they go in an opposite direction with Guilia. I don't want them to just throw her in Damage Control because she's Joshi. I want her to make her own mark.

Keep Jade away from the wrestlers she should feud with the likes of Rhea, Raquel, Nia and Lash Legend, and Kamille keep her strong but with the Big Girls. Im sure they will have Jade feud Nattie as she will carry her until she is more comfortable in WWE

Somebody is gonna have to take a loss. You can't push everyone like Goldberg.

Also worked with SMW and USWA

Good will from everyone in the industry. That you're not some stuck up promotion high on mount olympus who can't be bothered to work with the so-called peasant promotions. Triple H is showing that he's a wrestling fan that cares about fans. He's changing that isolationist perception.

Sheesh

It's always better when the wealth is spread around. Keeps folks on their toes and is better for the ecosystem. And when they talk to sponsors and other deal makers that may be familiar with other promotions and top talent, coming off like you're too big league to even know about certain talent may go against doing good business.

I went back and watched this week AEW Dynamite!!..It was a damn good action packed show to start the New Year!!..The fight card they put on for the first Dynamite show of the New Year was good!!.. ...The segment with The Undisputed Kingdom, Bullet Gold Club, and The Acclaimed was good!!..The match with Orange Cassidy vs Dante from Top Flight was a good match!!..To me, It's time to take that belt off Orange Cassidy now!!..It's long over due to have a new AEW International Champion...The women's match with Mariah May vs Queen Aminata was pretty good!!..It looks Mariah May matches are going to be pretty good at AEW!!..Also, I hope they showcase Queen Aminata more...She look like she can make some noise in the Women's Division as well....The segment with Christian Cage was good!!.. ....The match with Takeshita vs Darby Allin was damn good!!.. ...The last match with Swerve vs Daniel Garcia was alright!!..I'm glad that they are going to keep that feud with Swerve and Hangman going!!...

My thoughts on last night's Dynamite...

I thought it was an good show. A step in the right direction and a reset of sorts for 2024. It felt fresh and focused. Multiple and consistent stories. Solid promos and character progression. Good matches.

- Samoa Joe's opening promo was short and sweet and established what needed to be established.

- Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and Wardlow have now been repackaged as Undisputed Kingdom. I had no issue with why Adam Cole did what he did. The good that can come out of this is it's created a variety of storylines. Jay White/Bullet Club Gold are after Undisputed Kingdom. The Acclaimed are after Undisputed Kingdom and MJF when he returns from injury will be after Undisputed Kingdom. There's an array of storylines you can milk for months and months to come.

- What more can be said about Christian Cage. Doing the best work of his career. Phenomenal stuff!

- I love that all the matches had clean finishes continuing the sports based feel of the Continental classic tournament. This is what we want. The less Shenanigans involved in a match the better. Give us New Japan style clean finishes.

- Mariah May's debut was a success. The Stardom training has really paid off. She's fluid in her move execution and movement. Her presentation and charisma were on point and she's a solid promo. She'll have a great career in AEW if TK doesn't fumble her.

- I love that Deonna Purrazzo is All Elite. A great addition to the women's division. A main eventer who is gonna give you solid feuds and matches. I already see a great feud she can have with Britt Baker in the future.

- There does seem to be an added focus on the women's division as of late. Hopefully TK is serious about turning the women's division around because with the amount of talent that they have in that division it could easily be the best women's division in the United States if book properly.

- Although it was speculated that Mercedes was going to show up I understand why they didn't have her debut this week. The show was in New Jersey so it made better sense to have Deonna Purrazzo debut in her hometown. Bringing Mercedes out would've stepped all over that. They'll probably have Mercedes come out next week where they can put the full attention on her. Do a tease vignette on "Collision" where you don't see her face but you get the hint that it's her then next Dynamite you debut her.

- The Takeshita/Darby match was fantastic. So many great spots. It's been so long since Takeshita has been in the ring you forget how special he is. He definitely needs to see gold of some kind in 2024.

- The four way between Trent Beretta, Brian Cage, Bryan Keith, and Vikingo was just okay. At least it was to determine the next opponent for Eddie Kingston.

- Swerve/Daniel Garcia was good. TK overbooked the ending by having Hangman come out. Why are we revisiting this feud? Give Swerve somebody new. Give Hangman somebody new.

It was a damn good show to start off the New Year!!...

It's good business in itself. Wrestling is competing for more eyes than ever thanks to streaming services and people watching less live programming in general.

Yeah, I'm definitely seeing a refreshed focus so far. I think they're gonna turn things around in 2024.

The way Jaguar Yokota executes the Tiger Driver 91 and the way Akira Hokuto executes the Northern Lights Bomb! :itsawrap:Nasty! I hope they allow Guilia to continue using the Northern Lights Bomb as her finisher in WWE.
