I honestly DON'T see him as a World Champion in either promotion. He's a good promo but none of his matches stand out to me. Midcarder is the ceiling for him.
The same could have been said about Seth Rollins back in NXT. I think if Starks has the right machine behind him he could be a World Champion. This new WWE has the possibility to make World Champions out of a lot of people. Not just the same 6 people.

I agree..Also, I think hes better being a tag team than a solo wrestler!!..Him and Big Bill is doing pretty good as Tag Team Champs...Brother Mastermind2002, is Ricky Starks contract is up this year??..

I hate that she'll have to start in NXT but she's a generational talent so she'll be on the main roster in no time.

I hear. And there are so many that are currently on both the AEW and WWE rosters who are due for bigger pushes. We're currently in a time where all rosters have great wrestlers and not enough good solid booking to go around.

I'm not a Japanese wrestling aficionado nor does it really draw me in, so this doesn't really do much for me.

Definitely see this as WWE being extra petty. TK got what he wanted, I guess.

Context for my statement above....

I'm all for Japanese promotions working with American promotions as long as there's no exclusivity bullshit. That's the thing that soured me on WWE in the past. WWE wants to work with New Japan so they can cut AEW and TNA out and hog the talent. Don't like that.

l feel you but as a business leader, like EA having exclusivity with the NFL for Madden, I can understand why WWE would want exclusive rights.

SONY does it, Microsoft does it so I understand why WWE would want to do it as well. Yeah it's shitty business, but it is business.

She sounds like a Japanese woman speaking English with a Russian accent....
I honestly thought she was a white girl working in Japan all this time. LOL
Just looked her up and found out she was born in England and is half Japanese and half Italian.

Why would any successful American company want to share foreign talent with another American company?
That's dumb business and only something a mark and/or a company in a distant second place (like AEW) would agree to do.

Maybe because I'm a FAN and want what's BEST FOR FANS. None of us run a wrestling promotion so to carry on and care about that is silly. We're not on the business end of it we're on the fan end of it. SO BE A FUCKING FAN!

There's a huge difference between being a realistic fan and being a delusional fan living in fantasy land.
Even when I was a kid I knew that WWF and WCW/NWA were never going to come together and have Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair or The Ultimate Warrior vs. Sting even though we all wished it would happen and all the magazines at the time wrote articles all the time about "dream" matches.

Is it really delusional fantasy land? We're living in a day and age where ...

- AEW worked with NJPW
- AEW worked with TNA
- TNA worked with NJPW
- ROH (before TK bought it) worked with NJPW
- NJPW worked with NOAH
- WWE will be working with AJPW
- WWE will be possibly working with TNA
- Stardom will possibly be working with WWE or AEW
- All the top Japanese promotions last month announced that they would be doing a joint show together in 2024.

We're getting dream matches all over the place. IT'S HAPPENING! But instead of being excited and happy we have so-called realistic fans shitting all over it. A wrestling fan should always be pushing toward all wrestling promotions working together. Never stop dreaming.

Do she eventually replace Bayley in Damage Control Io/Asuka/Kairi/Guilia with Dakota vs Charlotte/Becky/Bailey/Bianca. Keep Jade away from the wrestlers she should feud with the likes of Rhea, Raquel, Nia and Lash Legend, and Kamille keep her strong but with the Big Girls. Im sure they will have Jade feud Nattie as she will carry her until she is more comfortable in WWE

Thats how it was back in the 80s Wrestlers would travel to the various Territories.

Yeah to me what separates main eventers from mid carders is mic skills. Not exclusively but if you have great promo skills I feel your ceiling is a main eventer. The wrestling can and will come.

What’s the purpose of this thought? What incentive does WWE have with working with promotions like TNA? I don’t think it’s to satisfy fans wet dreams…..I think it’s cool but just knowing how WWE does business just wondering what do they get out of it.

Exactly. At the end of the day any partnership has to make sense for BOTH parties, not just one.
He just named a bunch of Japanese and second-rate US promotions where partnerships are beneficial to both sides.
The closest WWE ever came to having a partnership was during the mid 90s when they had ECW, Japanese and Mexican wrestlers regularly on their program.
Of course what was also during a time when business was down for WWE so it made sense at the time to partner with other promotions in the hopes that it would help business, which it eventually did.
