Your son who is an A student is suddenly having problems in his 8th grade Spanish class. This is odd because his mother is Puerto Rican and he's been speaking Spanish since he was a toddler.
Part of the problem is that he has been acting up in class (talking, telling jokes) and because of this has ended up in Detention at least twice a week courtesy of his Spanish teacher, Ms. Ayala.
So you decided to stop by the school one afternoon after finding out he had Detention. This would allow you to have a brief discussion with Ms. Ayala.
You waited until Detention was over (your son waited on the car) and spoke with Ms. Ayala, and she told you that your son was a good student, but just needed to stop being a disruption during class.
She attempted to demonstrate how he acts then asked you, "What would you do if she was being a bad girl in your class?"
