2 hours of him philosophizing and it'll still be the best stand up of the yearHope he tells some jokes this time around instead of philosophizing for two fuckin' hours.![]()

I'm sure it'll be entertaining because Dave is just that good, but I just enjoy more the comedy routines and jokes of the skinny Dave 20 years ago.
As always with his stuff I enjoyed it
Ironically, critics keep recycling the same old review!![]()
Dave Chappelle: the controversial US comic sounds like a broken record in this Netflix special
The provocateur recycles the same old concepts to tiresome effect in The Dreamerwww.telegraph.co.uk
One star proves there is an agenda at play...people end up telling on themselves by accident...if you thought it was the same old, same old, you give it at worst 2 stars but more likely 2.5 to 3 stars![]()

When me n the wife went to see him a few of months ago this is the show we saw, but also he had some of his old jokes moxed in with these!! With like 4 other comedians...
When I read the reviews I was really surprised how their perspectives were...
Off.
They kept saying just look at the audience, they aren't laughing. The director couldn't even hide it.
But the audience was laughing throughout. WTF were they seeing?
Sounds like they just trying to sabotage it...wouldnt matter most people who likes him gonna look at it just to see...i enjoyed on screen as well as i did when it was live...then showing all the pics at the end is pretty good..
Watched the 1st 30 mins after midnight celebrating.
I laughed the entire time mostly. Can't wait to see the rest.
Those pictures with that song>>>>
And the fact that EVERY SINGLE PERSON he clowned on
Male female black white gay straight whatever?
Got the joke.
To me that says it all.
Thats exactly what im talking about...just like u said! Everybody gets that they are just jokes...my wife and i went to a comedy club earlier last year...all white people! My wife and i and the other couple that was with us were the only blacks...once dude noticed that after my wife said it was her bday...then he started with us in his jokes, but it didnt bother me one bit...many people let that get to them...nah..just enjoy the moment...like dave said im in his dream too!
Yep they were about race and how he like black women...but my wife was engaged with it as well...i dont think anyone would have been offended as how he brought things to us...energy from the crowd was very supportive of us and the comedian...it was really a good vibe! Also he made a song on the fly at the end and included us in it!! And yes it was funny...and afterwards people in the crowd came up to us shaking our hands and wishing my wife happy bday...vibe was just cool!^^^^
Okay this is a good convo
Can i ask were the jokes all based on race? COULD people have easily been offended? How did you feel the energy from the crowd was?
Most importantly was he FUNNY?
