I gotta read this.

Enjoyed the restaurant scene, and the one with Roy Tillman at the house.

Dismissed them all.

Had the captions on (per usual with all shows) to appreciate the writing / dialogue.

I'm wondering if that is deliberate

All the best speeches have been in eating situations

Kitchen, dinner, restaurants, diners...

I dont know if its been mentioned but I am thinking Dot/Nadine is oringally from the family of the militia
it would how she is so bad ass, inventiative and cool under pressure (of course in real life those types are just loud mouths with guns)

Season 5
Episodes 1 - 3

Stuck at a dock here in Southern California waiting for these mofos to load me up. Like a lot of places they are short on manpower cuz nobody wants to work.

Decided to knock out as many episodes of this season.

The season starts off as a slow burn heavy with character introduction/development along with story development. Not much to say about.

With the 2nd half of episode 3, it looks like it’s gonna pick up in pace for episode 4.

I should get the next 3 episodes done hopefully by the end of the weekend.

Looking forward to them.

Episodes 4 - 6 are strong.

6th episode ends on a very serious note.

Season 5
Episodes 4 - 6

Caught up with these this morning at home.

The season starts kicking into full gear in Episode 4.

This broad Dot is a trip running around like “Macguyver” taking mofos out. She either has had some training or is a smart chick that thinks quick. Hopefully they give a backstory on her before the season ends.

Munch is a damn maniac. The flashback to the 1500s shown earlier obviously he has some connection to it with what he is doing currently.

Lorraine completely killed the whole Libertarian/Conservative shit with the talk she had with Sheriff Roy.

Gonna let a couple episodes stack up before catching up. There are 4 episodes remaining for a total of 10.

Enjoyed watching her dress down Tillman at the house, and the guys at the restaurant respectively.

It'll be interesting to see "how and when" Lorraine goes after Tillman. How much she chooses to bond & rebuild with Dot knowing what she knows now, and given their cold relationship up until this point.

Regarding Munch...

Wales, 1522.

In rural 16th century wales, a man who looks just like Munch and is seemingly connected with him, is hired as a sin-eater at a funeral. He is paid to ritually eat a meal that represents a rich man's sins, in order for the rich, dead man's sins to be absolved. Typically condemning the sin-eater to a life of shame.

Actor Sam Spruell interprets the man in the flashback to either be Munch himself or an ancestor[2].
