Colorado's Travis Hunter signs NIL deal with FreeForm Sports, joins advisory council

Travis Hunter continues to build out one of the boldest brands in college football.
The Colorado defensive back and wide receiver is one of the most followed athletes in the sport. He’s now signed an NIL deal with FreeFrom Sports, joining the company as a member of its Athlete Advisory Council. Through the agreement, Hunter will provide his input in product development and will release a line of custom pads and wristbands available for sale.
Launched in 2022, FreeForm creates products using 3D printing technology to create equipment that has been worn by athletes at Colorado, Texas, Ohio State and TCU in practice and games. Because of the name, image and likeness era, the brand is working with Hunter to boost its brand awareness.
“I love the look and feel of FreeForm Sports’ athletic gear,” Hunter said in a statement. “I am partnering with them so I can help shape the future of performance equipment.”
The Colorado star wore FreeForm thigh pads in the season’s final two games against Washington State and Utah. The pads were printed to feature his “TH” logo, now available for sale on FreeForm’s website at $60. As part of the 3D printing, the company has released wristbands that feature Hunter’s logo and number.
According to a press release, another batch of athletes is set to join Hunter on the advisory council in 2024. Several players have already signed on to collaborate with FreeForm on NIL deals to promote the collectible wristbands.
Hunter continues to use his NIL platform to work closely with up-and-coming companies. He’s the featured athlete for SoHoodie, a brand that produces one-size-fits-all hoods. The Colorado star has his own collection, which features the slogan “I’m Him” in gold and black.

Warren Sapp is actively pursuing his degree so he can be a member of the coaching staff... Ochocinco showed interest but you really don't know with that guy.
If Prime played this as he could, he'd recruit any kid he wanted.
You already got one of the greatest athletes of all time paying you a visit... like literally sitting there in your living room... then imagine a D-lineman having Sapp come along too... now picture that with every position player... being greeted by Coach Prime and this HOF player, that 3x pro-bowler, etc.

I only thing is their limited with slots…. Even from an analyst slot, they have limits positions.
But just hanging around the complex(like Sapp and T.O were doing) giving one on one conversations could actually help a ton.

Colorado DC Charles Kelly set to join Auburn coaching staff

Charles Kelly is coming home. The Colorado defensive coordinator is leaving Deion Sanders' staff to return to his alma mater as a co-defensive coordinator and assistant coach, Auburn Undercover was informed Saturday morning.
An Auburn alum, Kelly was on Alabama's staff as co-DC and safeties coach from 2019-22 before he was hired at Colorado last offseason. He was in the running for Auburn's defensive coordinator job on Hugh Freeze 's staff last year.
Auburn cornerbacks coach Wesley McGriffmoved off the field midway through the 2023 season, and special teams coordinator Tanner Burns took his spot, which will now go to Kelly, who will coach the secondary with Zac Etheridge.
Kelly's first FBS job came in 2006 as special teams coordinator at Georgia Tech, where he spent the next seven years. He won a national title at Florida State in 2013 and was promoted to defensive coordinator the next year. Kelly spent one year at Tennessee in 2018 as special teams coordinator.
Regarded as one of the best recruiters in the country, Kelly has been a primary recruiter for nine 5-stars in his career. He was last year's national recruiter of the year by 247Sports.
There is a reason UM (school) and UM fans don’t fuck with Sapp. Sapp and Jason Witlock share the same views. If I am Prime I probably don’t want him to active on the recruiting trail.
It definitely helps to have great players around. Miami players always come back to the school like Ed Reed, Hester, Vince Wilfork, Santana moss, Andre Johnson, John Vilma, Gore and many more. The kids love it.
Once the buffs start getting players drafted, this will become more the norm

I know Ed Reed personally and this is cap. However the current DC is on an NFL staff so it probably won’t be announced soon
This was Coach Prime biggest mistake and worst hire. I said from day one dude was a problem. He had a worse defense than the 1-11 Buffs team.
