I don't eat Asian food (especially after COVID) and stopped going to Jamaican restaurants. Many Black Americans are following suit. Those businesses are well within their rights to be there, and people are well within their right not to patronize them. Owning a restaurant isnt easy.

Best advice I can give is to go fusion. Alot of Asian takeouts have switched over to soul food completely because Black Americans don't want to eat their MSG bullshit anymore. Tell them Jamaicans to put some chicken and waffles on that menu and cater their shit to a comfort food style. It's the only chance to entice the biggest demo to keep patronizing your restaurants. Or keep it non-fusion and rely on a smaller customer base.

If they are in a major market that's diverse they can prolly get by with just Jamaican food, but not in no Memphis, Tennessee. The problem is there's not enough Jamaicans in the US to carry all the Jamaican restaurants.
