I mean yeah that's part of it. Her name is Charlotte Flair. But at the same time she ain't the only kid he got. I don't see David Flair drawing lol. But for sure that's part of it. The last name. It's like Cena. Cena ain't great in the ring either but he's a draw. That's her right now. Far from the best but her name rings bells.
Yeah I'd much rather look at the white chic.
Although David had the last name he didn't do his father's gimmick. He tried to make it on his own. I can respect that. The same goes for Cody and Dustin Rhodes. Just because you have a famous wrestler's last name doesn't mean you have to do their gimmick. BE YOURSELF!
Cena is miles better in the ring compared to Charlotte Flair. It's not even close. Cena earned his spot. Charlotte didn't.
It's a cheap way to the top but that's what Vince wanted and the reason we got all her title reigns shoved down our throats. If anything all those reigns should've been divided between Sasha (Mercedes) and Bayley.

Lolz these masked men in AEW reminds me of the Putty’s from Mighty Morphing Power Rangers. I hope someone takes that segment and adds in the MMPR sound effects! What the hell was that lame ass shit. Then to have the “Devil” send a message on screen depending on the camera man/director to get the shot of the message? AEW has poor production value, but damn, this felt awkward.

AEW is in the situation it's in because of bad booking not high salaries.
We're not talking about any average wrestler here. We're talking about a generational talent. You give them what they want. Not everybody will or should be making the amount of money Mercedes would be making.
Again I'm not saying everyone should get big time money. Only the few who deserves it.

I don't really think she's Ric Flair. She lack this charisma....I would say she's a female version but not even. Flair's mic skills and in ring talent were top notch and were carrying programs. That ain't Charlotte.
I agree though they gave her too many title shots and title wins.
Yeah she tweaking....she's a great talent but I think she needs WWE more than they need her....I don't feel the women's department is lacking. Right now they have a bunch of good wrestlers that still need pushes.
Oh she for sure should. I honestly think she's a great talent and has great crossover potential. I think she still aint' tapped her potential as far as what she can do outside the ring. But I see no reason why WWE would make her the highest paid female wrestler.
That's what I was thinking. WWE got it but every year they have to make cuts. Handing out crazy deals is gonna force you to cut probably talent you may not want to in the future.

You all seem to forget that WWE has Jade Cargill going through the PC. I think NXT would be a waste as the women's division there is SUPER cookie cutter. You HAVE to put her on the main roster! Mercedes leaving just opened up that spot for her. Unless you want to bring her back to NXT and she's not having that
I agree Im pretty sure her request for top dollar is to secure her place as the main event. They are not going to pay her top dollar to put over the NXT Talent. I am sure that is her reservation with returning, She does not want to become Natalya.

I'm all for her getting paid...but WWE has a whole farm system full of talent they can mold into superstars. Mercedes/Sasha is a superstar but she CAN be replaced.
The whole Four Horsewomen thing adds luster in her coming back, but WWE doesn't need her. She doesn't need WWE either, but she'll never be as big a star elsewhere.
I can see why Charlotte got paid, she's a star and has always played by the book. Can't recall her having backstage issues, so I can see that as a reason for her getting paid.
Mercedes has walked out a few times, and although that was under different leadership, I hope that doesn't work against her. Her and WWE would have to meet in the middle. I hope she doesn't price herself out.
