These 2024 trucks haven't even hit the road good, and they're being recalled.

There was a time when you could count on a Chevy/GMC truck. I guess US craftsmanship and pride is just a thing of the past.

Although I like the styling of the GMCs, it just makes good business sense to purchase a Toyota. :dunno:

So... if I Google, "Toyota Tundra and Recall"... I won't get anything?

I swear... some of you guys wake up just to be a pain in another person's ass. Where did I say that at???

I've owned various Chevy Silverados. I ordered my first one in 1993 (Crew Cab). I've owned one ever since. But during that time, I could see the quality of their vehicles degrade over the years. Bruhs in my Motorcycle Club have noticed the same thing. Some are changing to Ford... most are changing to Toyota.

I was loyal to the brand; but, the brand isn't loyal to me.

Perceived quality is subjective. This recall is for a little over 3000 trucks. Toyota recalled over 168,000 Tundra and Tundra Hybrid pickup trucks from the 2022 and 2023 model years because a plastic fuel line may start to leak and cause a fire. Ford is recalling 870,000 F-150s from 2021 through 2023, due to issues with the electric parking brakes. Drivers may experience unexpected activation of parking brakes while driving.

Any vehicle can be recalled at anytime. Most people will not have problems with any new truck. Stop taking personal experiences as facts because that never adds up.

I've been driving Chevy trucks for 30 years. I think that I'm qualified enough to make an objective and subjective comment about those particular vehicles.

My personal experience is not a fact? GTFOHWTB!

You damn skippy. Personal experience's are not facts.

Personal experiences can be factual in the sense that they are true to the individual who experienced them. However, personal experiences are often considered anecdotal evidence when it comes to making broader claims or generalizations.

People like to share stories about things that happened to them, or that they heard about, to make a point. That kind of talk is anecdotal: based on small, personal accounts. Anecdotal stories are helpful when you’re trying to give an example of something, but there's a downside to anecdotal information: since it’s not based on facts, you never know if you can totally trust it. So it's best to go beyond the anecdotal and get more solid information.

I have nothing else to say on the topic.
