It's what they do. It was done in my case. From embellishing what happened, to coercion to file a protective order. The prosecutor in my case was the main one doing the coercion trying to have my ex create the victim narrative of abuse.
It's a very slippery slope with these cases nowadays and the CO's in jail were making it clear to me that DV cases aren't handled lightly when you are the one in cuffs.
If he did abuse her, fuck him. If he didn't, I already knew it would be an uphill battle.
Man, in the texts, he was telling her to cover her head bruises, that doesn't sound good....
