I know there's history there but You kinda wonder if they are mocking AEW and taking subtle jabs for the Smart Marks that get the joke. Everything done from the signing to the entrance down to the same Promo is just done at a higher level at WWE

So you thought Seth's promo was better than Hangman's?
I don't think it was necessarily better than Hangman's, but it made more sense looking at the context of it.
The build up. The entrance, the anticipation of the face to face were all better. The words were the same.
Closer and closer to bussin’ it wide open….
The dynamics are different though. This is Punk's first feud since coming back to WWE so the build and anticipation are gonna be better. When Punk faced Hangman he was already in AEW awhile.
Lacey NEVER did anything for me. The women we actually want to see buss it open will never do it. Bianca, Jade, Bayley, Trinity, Mercedes, Hikaru Shida, Jamie Hayter, Skye Blue, etc.
Sheeeit.....I'm not into blondes but the prospect of seeing a nicely shaped woman wrestler buss it wide open on video/pics for free, I'll take it.
I always saw Lacey as having the body Charlotte wish she had. Lacey for being really tall has a great lower body.
Hangman's promo at the time made no sense and was too "inside baseball" since the only people who knew about their issues backstage with Punk were the wrestlers themselves backstage and a few dirtsheet writers.
Punk was a babyface at the time and the promo made absolutely no sense in that context since it was a shoot and unscripted.
In the end, it did no favors for either Punk or Hangman.
At least with Seth, Seth has been planting seeds through interviews over the years and with his reaction at Survivor Series that he doesn't like Punk.
So the promo last night from Seth made sense in that context.
Hangman can't hang with Punk on the mic and just comes off like a whiney wanna-be cowboy whereas Seth can hang with Punk on the mic.
Lacey has always been sexy to me. She has that classic MILF look to her.
It's a shame WWE couldn't figure out what to do with her but at least we get to see her (hopefully) bust it wide open soon.

Should be a fantastic match! Megan has been excellent in Stardom and Guilia is an international sensation. Looking forward to it!

World: Suzu Suzuki vs. Maika: Would like Maika to win as I feel it's her time but Rossy will probably go with Suzu.
- Wonder: MIRAI (c) vs. Saori Anou: Time to get the belt off of MIRAI. Her white belt reign has been boring. Saori has been great all year. Reward her please.
- Goddess: Utami Hayashishita & Saya Kamitani (c) vs. Momo Watanabe & Natsuko Tora: Too soon to take the belts off of Utami and Saya. They retain!
STRONG: Giulia (c) vs. Megan Bayne: Guilia is dropping the belt but not here. I think she drops it sometime next month. Probably at the Tokyo Dome show.
