Update: Rapper YoungThug is Coming HOME

Trust me if they go to trial which they are, they will call him to testify, that's the whole point in giving him a plea deal. The prosecutor has a hand full of spades they can play at anytime if needed.
They said the DA wasn't going to call him to testify.....that was part of the deal.

But in the streets....niggas don't care.
They hear the words "plea deal", and that equates to Snitch.

One of our stupid ass radio Dj’s was on air talking about its not fair Thug is in jail and free young thug. I swear some niggas say the dumbest shit. Always supporting bullshit ass criminals like a badge of honor . Screaming “free” so in so like they didn’t do anything. There’s legit innocent people locked up that deserve that support but these coons don’t care about them because it’s not cool or gangsta to scream free a real innocent man. But let’s free Tay K and Young Thug who have killed people.

Right. If we are all co defendants on a case 1 person can't take a guilty plea cuz it hurts the rest of us. That's what makes him a snitch, he's snitching indirectly. If Im in court sayin YSL is a record label and my co-defended is saying naw its a gang and pleading guilty that's snitching, whether he takes the stand or not

Just completed a class project on the Young Thug trial. I snagged twitter videos from this thread and put them in my presentation.

Learned a lot about him actually. Didn't know he won 2 Grammys and was a HS QB.

Thanks guys, you all just secured my A in Judicial Process!
Good shit bro. Didn’t know you was in law school. That’s what’s up cuz.

Judicial process is the name of the class?

Naw I'm completing my undergrad in Political Science. Law school or MBA next.

Yeah Judicial Process is a class focusing on the Federal and State Court system...Prof had us read a case, preferably involving celebrities, and brief it/do a PowerPoint on it.

I want law school but probably MBA since my job will pay for it. Trying to graduate undergrad and grad debt free.

Graduate next semester!

Anyone read the 88 page indictment?

I think the State should have a slam dunk case but knowing how celebrity hero worship works these days, the jury might not buy that he is the ringleader vs. all of it being entertainment.

State fucked up already.

State lawyer included evidence with the defense attorneys name and it shouldn't have been in there. He has represented another client in the indictment previously.

He says he wasn't sent all the discovery pretrial. She used a screenshot he wasn't ready to defend.

Mistrial was asked for and denied but jury will be instructed when they re-enter the room.

Judge is pissed and just went off on States counsel.

Actually went off on both. The matter could have been taken care of before sitting the jury. He's mad that everyone's time is being wasted

That's what's up...

I know I've told you this, but my homegirl did the MBA/JD program at Georgia State....

I feel you though, if your job will pay for that MBA, that's the way I would go....Fuck that JD...LOL

He was a quarterback? I wouldn't have guessed. He looked so scrawny when he first came on the scene.

Maybe one of these days you can explain to me how admitted drug dealers, easy E and Jay Z, avoided being on the government's radar. In fact, Suge got away with a lot until he just didn't know when to chill.

What changed that now folks are going after rappers, using their art against them?
