I will put a * on the Dodge because the charger and the challenger are reliable cars, you may get in trouble with some by speeding or somebody taking it from you, but they are pretty reliable cars if you do the regular maintenance. Jeep is ass. Ford only make one good car and that’s the F150. Chevrolet really took a dive, mainly with their engines. I put GMC in the same boat as Chevrolet because they are the same damn cars. Chrysler yuck….. although the Chrysler 300 wasn’t that bad. Volvo is not that bad, but the quality is not what it used to be. Mercedes quality really drop over the last few years. I heard a lot of complaints about the interior quality too. BMW should be on this list because those cars really dropped off also.

I've had 2 Chargers and they have been pretty reliable as long as you do the normal maintenance.

My durango was a money pit though. It has 2 gas tanks for starters. Every time you turn it on the gas meter goes down.
This, I've had both (company cars). They ended up getting rid of the Durangos.

Not much of a surprise Since Chrysler makes Jeeps they should be 1 through 6 because Jeeps are pure D garbage.

And folks get carried away with the power of the Dodges but their fit and finish is crap and their performance is worse.

But it's your money, spend it as you wish.

The challenger and the charger are decent cars

My Dodge Ram has served me well for the past 13 years with no issues—yet. However, I want to purchase a new Lexus 600 next summer due to its comfort, technology, and dependability. This will likely be my final car for some time since I always maintain my vehicles unless a better car in the $90–$100 range is available.

Yeah. E

Yeah. Everybody buys gmc for the trucks.
They very easy to work on that and Cadillac Escalade, beside changing that damn number 8 spark plug. Knock on wood my Escalade never left me stranded. Now I got some bad gas one time and it ran very sluggish.

Im surprised Tesla aint up there. Only because I always hear about how "cheap" they are made but I guess them shits reliable or they werent included.

Can the interior of those cars be a little better? Yeah but it’s decent enough.

like I said, if that's what you want. Me, I'd use the same amount to get a used luxury performance sled not full of plastic. But that's me. spend your cabbage the way you want.

Oh yeah, that car should be on the list especially last few years. The quality of that car went to hell.

BMW is one of the most reliable brands . This ain’t the 80s and 90s

The problem was never reliability, it was the cost of general maintenance or parts. It's a tale old as time.

1st owner keeps the car until the complimentary maintenance is over, then discovers the real cost of parts and they end up deferring basic maintenance, until one day they eventually try to catch up. Only now it will cost thousands to do so. They sell the car and the next owner is also blindsided by what all needs to be done, so they again just do enough to keep it running but not everything.

The third owner is usually the one who's just trying to floss, and can't afford to do shit, so they drive it till it eventually fails, and there's no way in hell they can afford $5000 to repair it all on top of the $8000 they are upside down on the loan. And even if they did happen to get a car that was well taken care of, they still can't afford $1500 for pads and rotors or $800 for a flush. Those are the ones who bad mouth the brand and start the "unreliable" rep.

Most of the Tesla complaints are about build quality, not reliability. A lot of people aren't down with paying $80k for one and the panel gaps are as wide if not wider than a 80s GM car. Even with the truck, they still haven't seem to figure that out yet.

Yeah. Just used the sea foam in the intake for that

If you go to the dealer you’ll be raped everytime. Go to an independent German car mechanic and your costs aren’t much different than Lexus .

I'm in the same place.
My 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee wants ~$3K in repairs.
I do a lot of towing and it took it's toll.

I want that Lexus LS as well (not new); prolly my last car purchase
(unless an EV deal too hard to resist comes my way)

Yeah definitely be mindful if you get a Volvo.
Very few places work on them other than the Volvo dealership.
When i bought my daughter one as her first car,......it was surprising that so many places don't even carry the tools necessary to work on them.
They aren't all that complicated...I'm a little partial to the older ones. Can't speak on when they became a china brand
