Just a quick heads up:
The stats maybe a little bit deceiving
Because the 49ers defense was actually kind of average during the 1st half of the year
But the defense has improved a little bit since the trade deadline

Things that helped:
1. The trade for Chase Young
Now we have a legit edge rusher on the opposite side of Nick Bosa
2. They had a bye around the same time of the trade deadline
So they are a little more rested
3. Nick Bosa held out all of camp waiting for his new contract
So it took him a while to get back in "football shape"
4. We benched our nickel CB (Isaiah Oliver)
He used to play with the Falcons, & was recommended by coach Steve Wilks
But dude has been complete trash, dude could not cover for shit
