I was looking at the specs / calculations for a family friend's place which sold in recent months.
It went for just under 1.8 million.
The real estate page was saying with a 20% downpayment, your mortgage "will only be ..."
And the number was huge (monthly payments).
Clearly 2 families would have to pay down the home, or multiple tenants would have to help with the cost.
