Neither is he.

I mean I can accept a lot in the name of a joke...but it HAS to be funny!!! I could have given Kramer a pass IF that shyt was funny. Telling crazy shyt to your friends isn't the litmus test for if it's funny or not. You gotta go to some motherfcukers that don't like you and field test that shyt. This is kind of the problem I have with good looking people. Nobody ever calls them on their bullshyt when they say stupid and or unfunny shyt.

He actually is funny. Be seeing clips of dude for years. He is best wheen working the crowd which isn't in the special.

Yall don't think Kevin Hart is funny either yet millions disagree

That's the beauty of the artwork

It's all subjective

sadly in 2023 most don't get or accept that in movies music TV all art...

It's what you like.

If you don't like something? Don't watch it support it or tweet about it. Don't " hate watch" it.

Now if some actual hate speech going on - that's different

I don't personally find this joke offensive its just not that "funny"and especially for his special on a big platform you gotta understand exactly what you want this opportunity to do for your career. A career apparently he targeted women to help him pop. No pun intended.

I think they blowing this a little out of proportion but then again I'm not his target audience. So that's between him and them.

He apologized I hope that's enough

I laughed throughout his special
I did, too. He did this show in Akron and did this same joke.

I think he was just making a point about women not being able to cook anymore. Because making the correlation that she's working as a hostess instead of in the back as a cook, so if she could cook she probably wouldn't have the black eye.

This is overblown and he doesn't care

That guy is corny with a corny, spamming agenda. I saw him in LA last year and his 30 minutes was basic crowd work, unfunny stuff. However awful his set was, Harland Williams was worse.

It wasn't that funny but people are too fuckin sensitive. Get over it. Rchard Pryor and Redd Foxxx would have had these muthafuckas commit suicide. :smh:

I'm okay with how he handled it.

Yup It don't matter if I think he is funny or not.

He made the joke.

If HIS CORE AUDIENCE don't like it?

Now that is his issue WITH THEM and a serious one.

He dealt with it addressed now we gone see.

Personally I think he gonna fold

But so far he standing in his grown and is willing to lose a large segment of his fan base in the process. So we will soon see.

It's stand up, stop being sensitive little bitches and save the rage for real important issues.

Don't think this guy is funny in the slightest but idgaf, he's a stand up, he tells jokes. Let the man tell jokes, The second he goes on a Micheal Richards like rant then let me know.

Also I see he's mostly known for crowd work... Lmfao that's the house of new hacks, everyone and their mother has a YouTube full of clips doing crowd work, hands down the easiest aspect of stand up. Write some funny jokes and then I'll give you props, crowd work is the equivalent of a clown in a dunk tank at the fair. It's no surprise when we see their specials its always mediocre bullshit coming from one of two scenes, the bullshit Joe Rogan acolytes aka "free speech warrior" types, and the least funny of them all, PC commediens who complain about white people and white privilege while simultaneously benefiting from being a white guy/woman.

Stand up blows now. Lol

Man Chris Delia is out here raping hoes and fuckin with underage girls and he still sells out shows. I'm sure this cac will be fine. But like you said, we'll see.

The joke while unfunny isn't even very controversial imo, not only that but he even acknowledges in the next line that it's dark and meant to be for shock and to check the temperature of the room. I swear people are soft as two ply tp these days, and also have zero idea how stand up works.

to be fair I was not familiar with him before Netflix so I didn't hold the joke against him...

In fact I thought it was lazy as hell cause I've heard the same opening bit a few times this year and i think specifically on netflix

Like I said I'm not his target audience so I don't want say they are being "soft" they know better than I do.

Yeah, I think he might fold as well.

He explained himself twice dropped a kinda funny eff you "apology"

It's done, Either support him or don't.

We gonna see if it works out for him, cause he apparently lost his core (women) with this decision

Gotcha. I wouldn’t say he apologized but he certainly made his perspective clear.

Gotcha. I wouldn’t say he apologized but he certainly made his perspective clear.

Yes he did.

But I thought his explanation was an honest "apology". He explained his intentions were not to hurt or offend. He disagreed with the backlash and said this is his style going forward. And made another off color joke with the link.

To me? That's sufficient for a "joke".

He didn't promote hate speech or attack anyone. He made a OBVIOUS joke to get a reaction. Funny or not it wasn't meant to endorse abuse. He doesn't have a history of being an asshole publicly

That doesn't mean folk were WRONG to not like it either.

But I wanna see how long he sticks with this.
