22-year-old ballet teacher complains about today's generation of kids, their behavior and wanting to listen to Pound Town at 5 years-old

Like, second and third graders that don’t know their ABCs, sounds of letters, can’t write, or any basic functions you would expect at that age.
The stories I hear... wife subbed for a kindergarten class that had a girl who isnt even potty trained yet... wears a diaper and her dad works from home down the street and changes her as needed. No clue why the school tolerates that shit :smh:

These little kids are really not as prepared as they used to be. And my wife is only subbing in relatively affluent schools. Those cacs and asians are out of hand. There's pre-pandemic kids, and post pandemic kids. She did some of the middle-lower income schools last year but it's basically the prison pipeline and she's not getting paid enough to deal with all the bullshit.

Literally every generation has said the same thing about the one coming after.

I'm old enough to remember when MTV was going to destroy America's kids. And Tipper Gore wanting to put warning labels on music. And Madonna was going to destroy America's children. And Prince was going to destroy American't children.

Really everyone's kids have been bad for decades. She should get a new job.

Look at the adults in the world....we live in today...they did destroy the children..brah

I feel like that chick is fraudulent.

Because ballet class has an advantage public schools don't. You paid for this, if your kid is acting up, we won't let them back in class and we'll keep your money.
i hear u
does sound like AW

Bad>spoiled....you can redirect some of the behavior but when their spoiled only the spoilers can change them

I took PE / Sports Leadership back in high school. I was new at the school for 11th grade as we were transferring in from our junior high (8th - 10th grades elsewhere). Essentially you and another person from your class were assistant teachers to the regular gym teacher. Fortunately we had some good teachers to role model after. We had one teacher though who was in his 60s and should have been retired, and pretty much let us teach the entire semester (5 months), haha. We had to teach 2 classes simultaneously - 60 kids, and my classmate would often skip class so it was just me teaching them, lol.

We were teaching 8th and 9th graders, so just a few years younger.

Some kids were unmotivated. Some kids wanted to fight you or talk back. Some of the girls were trying to flirt with you and get you ME TOO caught-up back in the late-90s, it was like WTF?

Fortunately my brother played on a few sports teams with the guys outside of school, so they jokingly said - "Don't worry ... we'll listen to you. Your brother's cool. We won't make your life a living hell" and they lived up to their word.

It was challenging though showing up on day 1 and being told - "Ok - you're teaching them" (with the teacher off to the side) and trying to lead 60 kids who were 13 and 14yo.

What was she saying that these cats aren't? lmao. They're saying the same shit.
Everything the young lady said is dead on. She said everything she could saying without being attacked—these parents ain’t shit. What’s not said is you can’t keep that music away from kids now, whereas, when NWA and 2 Live Crew were hot, it was record players and cassette tapes. It was hard to get that shit or even play it in the house. Eventually Walkman’s and CD players allowed kids to listen privately. I worked in a record store in high school and records and cds had parental labels and we couldn’t sell them to anyone without ID. Now, every kids has a device where they can simply downloads, stream or watch the most heinous shit—including listening to “Pound Town”. It’s a fucking wrap for civility and decorum. Teachers will not win this war—it’s over. You’re either the example you want your kids to become or you’re doing nothing to, as Chris Rock said, “Keep em off the pole”.

This agenda push is far worse than the gangster rap push in the '80s and 90s. These kids is fucked up. These parents is fucked up.

These young people are out of control, not just lacking Direction but fuck you for even attempting to tell my kids something.

Her example of what the mom said when she told her her daughter didn’t want to go to her designated spot….

I have had so many battles with my daughter mom about this. I preach to my daughter and son to listen to that mf teacher and do what they say. Parents need to stop acting like these teachers out to hurt these kids. I know too many parents that cuss teachers out before correcting their own damn kids.

I agree. Parents ain't shit. But for whatever little affect the music has, ten times worse is the example adults set.

On this very forum, you have grown men saying women shouldn't expect to be taken anywhere nice. Just accept going to McDonals, let me cum down your throat then drop you back off. These are their fathers and grandfathers talking.

Do you see much civility and decorum here?

I mean even that girl turned out to be a thot putting up social media with her ass and tits out. Do you think hearing a song does more to influence kids than seeing your teacher slutting around?

The music is a scapegoat. It's harder to say that everyone has to do better as a society.

And you're right, teacher's won't win, but there ain't no war. The schools just want attendance numbers to maximize the amount of public money they get. If we really cared, we would give the schools the funds and the authority to fix it.

We should not penalize a school if they have to suspend or expel a kid for being a little asshole.

Society needs to stop hiding behind pound town and actually do something. That teacher can start by removing her thirst traps and thot videos off the internet and actually be the change she allegedly want instead of posting a fake crying video for likes.

I was walking to school at 7 yrs old when I heard "Don't quote me boy cause I ain't saying shit" coming from someone's speaker in a window.

Its been a wrap for me since then :itsawrap::dunno:

The problem is kids know there are zero repercussions to them being assholes. What is the teacher going to do if I openly cuss you out? Not a goddamn thing.

They need the ability to suspend these kids and make the parents have to deal with them for a few days. That would make parents keep their kids in line if they knew it meant them having to lose time at work or figure out how to deal with their kids all day.

So much to unpack here.

Music doesn’t have a “little” affect. It’s MASSIVE. its alters moods. There are songs that as soon as the beat hits, I get lost in that shit. A child favorite song is listened to repeatedly for months or even years. The first 5 seconds of damn of the Isley Brothers, Footsteps in the dark sit my ass down to this day. The first 5 seconds of Frankie Beverly and Maze’s, Before I let go. PROBLEMS! Same with rap music and the lyrics. It changes your spirit.

Arrogant-ass, entitled, man-hating women don’t even deserve that. The issue isn’t women wanting to eat in nice places; it’s ARE YOU ARE NICE PERSON? So far, it’s a cute chick expecting the fucking world simply to get to know her. They are single-handedly killing the dating scene with their entitlement. Quality women still go on quality dates, most women don’t deserve steak and lobster the same way we should nor expect head and pussy ON TJE FIRST DATE. If a woman even hints where she DESERVES to be taken, she’s dead to me. I’ll take you where you femininity and attitude tells me you deserve. As for the sex thing, most women are bust downs in denial. Hence all the memes they post about broke, dusty men.

It’s a porn board.
I mean even that girl turned out to be a thot putting up social media with her ass and tits out.
This confirms why most women get McDonald’s dates, they’re rarely who they present on the surface. Men are tired of the bait and switch.

Music is the catalyst in a child’s mind. Much of who and what a child will become is formed by age 8. If that 8-year old has a 23 year old ratchet mom, it’s a wrap for most. This is why a 32-year old mom of an 9-year old can raise a better human. Her surroundings will better shape the child’s perception of the world than a 21 year old hoodrat bumping Cardi B or UnSexy Redd.
And you're right, teacher's won't win, but there ain't no war. The schools just want attendance numbers to maximize the amount of public money they get. If we really cared, we would give the schools the funds and the authority to fix it.
A well-funded school can’t educate who doesn’t want to be. It can’t break generational curses. Uninvolved parents kill any child’s future prospects because they don’t reinforce what the child is learning. It’s over for society and there’s no way to fix education. I feel for teachers. The kids and parents ain’t shit.

I need to go research the pics and vidoes you speak off. Lastly, bitch had an emotional break, there were zero tears, so I was skeptical bear off rip. But, let me scroll back up for the pics of teacher-teacher.

Then it's simple, ban music except classical, ban porn, ban violence in music, ban video games. Have only chess. Then you won't even need parents. Ban sex outside of marriage.

I mean since we want to be a moral society.

The greater issue is that most people are stupid. They refuse to grow. Stunted, in most cases. All those things can exist within intellectual circles. Depravity is a novelty to the levelheaded; and a crutch to the idiots. Stupid people make stupid kids with people they won’t even commit to or marry. That single parent is stupid, bitter and uninspiring. THAT is who is raising the children teacher deal with. Society isn’t to blame for sexually irresponsible morons having children they don’t want by people they don’t like. The music are the easiest escape from that reality for a neglected child. Slippery slope.

That I agree with.

And the generation before you thought THE EXACT THING ABOUT YOU.

"In my day, if you saw a kid doing wrong you could spank him even if he wasn't your kid, but now, the parents would sue you. Schools used to be able to paddle these kids, but you can't tell them anything..."
Yeah It was really different back then. Parents would either give the teacher permission to beat you or your parent would come up to the school and whip that ass In front of all the other kids, pure embarrassment. At that age, there were early consequences and most children were humbled early on, and learned their actions had a price. I remember the phrase It takes village to raise a child, but for the most part now, the village minds their own business. Also you may try hard to be an exceptional parent but It's impossible to shield your child from other kids. Once they get around a child whose parents don't care about shit. It becomes that much harder to make them understand right from wrong.

before anyone says it. Yes she is 22. However, you don't think those kids and parents haven't looked up her social media at some point?

Bitch didn't think this all the way through
:smh: And I'm glad she didn't

yeah... i get what you are saying.. but this shit is different

these kids have NO respect for authority. We use used to be terrified to get in trouble at school

and if you did hoped to god your parents didn't find out, because that azz was getting it AGAIN when you got home..

nowadays you get in trouble at school and these new parents come up to the school and jump on the teachers..

shit is different...

I understand your point

But we gotta be careful because even back THEN we had bad kids bad parents bad teachers bad schools bad neighborhoods

You cannot do a straight comparison

It's like sports

There wasn't social media, internet, easily accessible porn, cell phones, lgbtq+, etc.

The drugs is different. Work hours. Family dynamic. Economics. Even local politics is different and they are all greatly influential factors on not only kids but society.

"A 5 year old singing Like a Virgin is disturbing and cause for alarm. A 5 year old singing Little Red Corvette is disturbing and cause for alarm."

Kids sing songs and don't even know what they're singing. The real cause for alarm is what they are learning from watching their parents.

Bro I was singing darling Nikki in church wondering why is she chewing on a magazine?

That part. I didn't understand until I was older that Prince was talking about his penis in Little Red Corvette. When you are using metaphors even with kids at a young age they don't understand if the metaphors are clever enough

"My pussy pink. My booty hole brown," ain't metaphors or similes.

That's straight TF out. And it's gone far too long to stop.
LOL,

talk about mind numbing cRAP ....lol but the shit bangs in clubs, I aint even mad at sexy redd... because

quiet as its kept, dark skin sisters were being slowly pushed out of the video ho/stripper game.... bruh it was so bad,

muthafuckas were just blatant with it, the requirements for events that required ratchet hood rats, always requested,

light bright chicks, asian and latina chicks were considered exotic.. the dark brown goddesses were being lowkey pushed

out the game.... then you had silly younghead rappers that dont know realize that when they are talkin to thousands possible,

millions of people at a time, they have to watch their words,

you had young fools like young berg, making a public statement on how he dont like DARK BUTTS,

no imagine how they made young dark skin girls feel, hearing this from a young bruh...

So when I see dark skin sisters getting light, I aint going to hate... they were going waaay to light with cardi b,

an then ice spice.. its like ok lets not make it THAT obvious, the jewish music industry is playing favorites...

so I like to see both light skin and dark skin sisters get their shine..

that being said,

its really all an attack on OUR FAMILY STRUCTURE... and thats the part I cannot support...!!!

but I aint hatin on sexy red..

what Im hatin on is the industry acting like all these acts are Organic,

when its all orchestrated and scripted....from cardi b to drake to sexy red to scar lip.......

Can not spare the rod.

My friend tried to be her daughter's friend. Now the dumb ass daughter has 2 kids by a no job nigga. Daughter doesn't work. Only one in the house with a job is the mom. Mom is having to be mother/father to her daughter and 2 grandkids at 47...and she's a gorgeous 47 but her life is over thanks to her no good daughter.

I knew this girl reminded me of someone. Bianca Lawson.

I posted this in another thread, but probably fits with this topic on youth over the generations. Some may not like the slant taken, but the history lesson of media and its impact on youth is good imo.

I hate to say it but homegirl could very well pass as Lawson"s daughter. Damnn, I'm getting old.
