What's the problem, doesn't everyone say "Free Palestine"?

Official NBA Ladder.... That list will determine the winner, it updates weekly.

It is not easy to dominate.

I'm speaking from a basketball and realistic standpoint.

There's not 10 or more players in the league having a better season in real life or stat wise than Giannis.

But it's their list and they can do with it what they want.

Straight Ho shit by Jokic. So what you ain’t getting calls. Don’t bitch in the middle of the play and then purposely get kicked out cuz ya coach did too. Almost lost AGAIN cuz of that shit

Reminds me Dennis Schroeder crying ass.

Rockets gave up the pussy to the Dubs like I knew they would. Broke their losing streak. They got up to play the Lakers but laid down for Steph.

And no complaints from Spider. ;)

Do many people have catch phrases in the 2020s? Feels like SAS is on some 1980s “Did I do that” “Eat my shorts, man” shit.

And was “eat my shorts” the cleaned up version of another directive?

I don’t know what the hell is going to with the tournament but, in googling to see if the Warriors have been eliminated, I see I was right about the ultimate effect of it:
I bet this is more engaging come November than people give it credit for now.

I predict there will be more pages in next year's NBA thread by December 15th than were in this year's by a good margin and the league will go into the Christmas break with higher engagement and TV ratings.
I think the tournament is a good idea. I guarantee you we will see increased attention paid to the NBA and better ratings this November than last November.

It's not just about money-- It is also about the health of the league, which is obviously tied to money. Ratings bring in more money, yes, but it can't be just money because how many people watch the games is important!

Fans hate on the tournament because it is not the playoffs-- nobody is going to equate winning that with a ring. But that’s only determinable in June and a gimmick can be valuable for a league where a lot of fans say the season doesn’t start until Christmas. Imagine NFL fans saying the season doesn’t start until Halloween!

Ratings are up; the games being shown on ESPN have gotten 55% more viewers than the ones in comparable windows got last year. It’s not exactly must-see-TV yet — those tournament games shown nationally are drawing about 1.7 million viewers — but better numbers are better numbers, which is the point.

I feel like no games at all on Thanksgiving is a mistake, even if the NFL will dwarf the NBA ratings.

It's common courtesy between sports leagues. Thanksgiving is the NFLs day. Christmas is the NBAs day. They don't step on each other's toes.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for football fans as the NFL is expected to hold a Monday tripleheader on Christmas Day for the first time ever. NBC Sports reported that the league is set to schedule three games on Dec. 25 this year, instead of the usual two games in years past.
The NFL has seen success with Christmas games in recent years, with a total of six games scheduled over the past three years. Last year's Christmas game between the Packers and Dolphins drew a massive audience of 25.9 million viewers, making it one of the most-watched regular-season games of the 2022 season. It's no wonder the league is upping the ante and scheduling three games this year.
