Lebron is the 12th in the scoring title race, and not in top 10 in MVP race yet, but he still has time to catch up.

Been 10 years since his last League MVP.

They don't give out awards or trophies for longevity and consistency, only dominance.

Jordan's fall off was epic. His last season his scoring average dropped 10 points below his career average, he went 2 months without hitting a single 3 pointer , and was the worst defender at small forward in the league. That's why his bum ass had to get coaches votes just to make the all star team in his final season. The fans knew he was ass and Vince was better. He finished 5th in voting. This year the GOAT will be the leading vote getter again. They don't give out awards for quickest fall off and shortest peaks.

That squad don’t have an identity and the coach don’t know what to do with them. They are athletic and tall enough to be a good defensive team, but nobody commits. And Melo is the worse point guard defender in the league (probably).

He’s still young, but as suspected, the Hornets franchise keeps subpar NBA or players so average they are content with having a job.

PJ ain’t got any better, Hayward is a shell, JT Thor hasn’t developed into anything at all. Scary Terry is who he is. Mark Williams has great potential, and Brandon Miller is already hurt, I believe.

Hornets got too many players that does the same thing. So Melo just stat pad.

dillon brooks is someone I absolutely despised this time last year. I thought dude was a straight clown, taking wild shots, talking shit unnecessarily, etc.

But maybe maturity set in, maybe it's the coaching staff, I dunno... but dude has been nothing but a model citizen and good teammate thus far. He plays good defense, is hitting a big chunk of his 3 pointers, scores when necessary, and has given the team a defensive identity.
