That was an argument for the Warriors to keep Klay, not for Klay to stay.
I’m sure they’ll pay market rate with hope for a slight discount, as with Draymond. I don’t think they have to worry about a bunch of teams overpaying for him.

You are correct, but this should be the last year for this core group for Golden State. I looked at a few of the games this year, and I could tell they are a step slower especially on defense. They had a good run, but I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for them. You make a squeeze out a year or two more from curry, but he needs a younger core of people around him. Klay ever since that Achilles injury hasn’t been the same. Draymond is still crazy, but his age is beginning to show.

One of my favorite GOAT talking points ever. He came to the Lakers not to compete, but to expand his off the court endeavors.
Not only did it speak to how TRASH the Lakers were viewed post-Kobe, but it implied LeBron had 0 chance to compete in the West. His stats and accolades were inflated playing in the East. We were gonna see how much better Kawhi, Harden, Curry, and KD looked than him once he played in the same conference. Then he wins a championship in only his 2nd year as a Laker and is all star captain every year (over all those guys I mentioned). So the fans said his championship don't really count and the league changed the all star rules so he'd finally lose as a captain.
If I had told this board 4 years ago the Dubs would fall off before the GOAT no one would've believed it. Now supposed die hard Warriors fans don't even wanna stand with or post about these niggas no more. Their "success" against LeBron hasn't been the same since Cleveland in the 2010's decade so they not as cool anymore.
