In Israel’s constitution the president is supposed to be THE moral authority vs the prime minister who is simply the political leader of the majority, like the president vs the chancellor in Germany.
The problem with THIS one is, he seems more and more unhinged at each of his interviews !

Like the apparent claims of a drivers License or passport of the 9/11 hijackers, found at the crash site….

One thing is hard for me to understand is
How and why folks feel the selected officials in Washington and wherever else will quickly do something. The few weeks I’ve been looking at this situation, its clear. What’s clear, ummmm the Americans hands is in the pot also.
I saw an unconfirmed report that we had surveillance over Gaza the day before.

Folks genuinely believe in this two party system here. They believe in this society and they believe in this democracy. They feel that even with all its pitfalls and track record of turning the blind eye at every corner, this system will still bail them out of whatever situation may present itself, or if not that, that at its worst, is still better than anything else out there.
For believers of this society, the buck has to stop somewhere so most people naturally point to DC and it’s leadership as blatant ineptitude. Having been raised here, I can tell you that this system is everything but inept and does exactly what it’s setup and intended to.
Regardless of how bad you think it is, no matter how many protests, how many marches or how ever bad you think things are, this system works like a charm ..
… for them.

Well, I'll take it a step further, Israel doesn't actually have a codified constitution so it does what the fuck it wants, and freestyles. It's why there were mass protests from Tel Aviv to Haifa about Bibi's proposing a change to the Israeli judiciary system essentially having his governing body over the supreme court. He could only propose that since their system of checks and balances aren't technically codified like the US and other countries.
So with everything you’ve stated… one must figure out a route to play within the lines.

I don't want Americans to die, generally speaking, but I'm kinda foreseeing some soldiers accidentally dying by Isreals wanton shelling.
Saw a video earlier with a journalist asking an evangelical woman this very thing. The evangelical said Palestinian Christians should turn the other cheek and accept it for the greater cause. You know they think when Israel is ALL Jewish Christ will return.
Ironically if Christ did come back they'd be skeptical since he wouldn't be white. They'd either kill him or lock him up and keep waiting for white Jesus.
